German city tour

On 2nd October, as I have mentioned before, Frau Schmidlin took us, the German class for a tour in Luzern city and we get a free drink from whichever restaurant but we have to order with German bestellen auf Deutsch.

We were introduced to Luzern city, the hidden places that we not know of as well as part of the history. Only after that day, I know that the building of the Museum is so extremely expensive peng mak [very expensive]. Plus, the hotels along the lake is also very expensive. One of them is not a hotel, it's just a casino yet they have rooms, in case of people who gamble do not want to have the trouble of travelling back home. All of the hotels are facing the lake as that is what tourists want to see.

SOme of the places we already know like the bridge and the Wasser tower ... which was previously a jail and later turned into a place of I dunno what and later turned into something else. Conclusion, it has changed so many times that I cant remember all. But now, it's a place for celebrations but we have to reserve the place and it's not opened to public. We have to contact the person-in-charge.

These 2 pictures can show almost the whole building but there are some places yet to be covered ... the back left side and the right. A day after that, I came to this place again because Joanne wanted to go and she told me to make 3 wishes :o

Those pics ... WOW! And the pics at the walls is St Francis Xavier

This is the organ. There's a story behind this organ. 20 years ago, there's a Japanese girl who came over to Swiss. The parents arranged a marriage for her with a Japanese boy. She is very talented in playing the organ, so I dunno how somehow she got this organ and it is since then placed in this church. She then cancelled the arranged marriage and the parents were so frustrated. But she's doing what she likes. Plus .. nowadays, she plays the organ at times in the church, quite often and some students who are about to go for organ examination will also play it there. Thus, you can hear the organ at times. Yeah, she is in her 40s now.

While lecturer was explaining, we take pics :D
