Malaysian Restaurant, Tanah Merah in Geneva

2 weeks ago ... or was it 1? Erm not sure but I guess it was one week ago, Adik, Kasyah and I went to this Malaysian Restaurant called Tanah Merah in Genf. Yeah, like a Malaysian gathering in a Malaysian place and the place is so Malaysian, like some sort of Kopitiam and mamak kind of feeling, with a Coca Cola sign outside of the restaurant hahaha. Then, 2 others came but they are not Malaysian, instead, they are Mexican.

Ready for pics? hehe ...

This is the sauce for satay

Satayyyyy ayammmmm ... omgggggg

Teh Ais .... lime Franc boss ... :S look at the 2nd pic, the ice cube is in heart shape, like so cute

Nasi goreng siut

Nasi ... the normal rice

Chicken ... ayam ... poulet ... and poulet haha

This is rindfleish ... aka beef

After finishing, we played congkak haha as well as hanging out there until it closes in the afternoon and talked with Anand, the boss, who later we found out that he is from Melaka, AND ... he knows so many languages =.= English, Malay, French, Tamil, Spanish, a bit of Portueguese, a bit of German =.= According to him, he used to serve Asam Laksa, but ... those Angmos, find it really smelly =.=

Overall, it's expensive ... but damn damn bloody satisfying and so membabifying

Dolphania, I said hie to him for you :D

It's funny like ... in KL, we look out for non-Asian food, but when out from Asia, we tend to hunt for Asian food that is very much like home.
