Day 1 (Part2): Siem Reap July 4th, 2015

Right after dinner, we had to leave hotel to go for Phare Circus.

From our hotel, it was more than 2 KM to the place. 5 USD 2 ways we got. In fact, it's supposed to be 6 USD.

A typical circus, you will think of animals doing stunts and making the audience burst into laughter. This isn't like that. There's a add on value service in any trips. If you know a local friend, or a friend who's residing there, it's gonna help you experience your holiday even better.

This isn't that typical circus you know. It's a theater, music, dance, modern circus and acrobats where performers used this aspects to tell Cambodian stories. I can't exactly remember the price. Depending on what you take, it varies. I think, mine was $18 USD.

The show was perfect. I was glad I went for it. It's THAT amazing. They tell their story through their performances. Each day you go, they tell a different story. The highlight of my whole trip, has got to be this.

These performers come from struggling families, poverty, and some are orphanage. They attend the school to learn the art and later on, turn professional. This is a good cause. Show your support and watch their show. If you happen to be in Siem Reap, this is something you have to do. Do not miss this and have this Phare experience, you will not regret it. At the same time, give hope to our human counterpart in Siem Reap.

Orlando Bloom punched Bieber

Praise to The Lord!

Orlando Bloom has gotten 1000000000 sexier.

There's a video now showing that he had just punched that lame Bieber as they had a little bit of scuffle.

No, there's no blaming of Orlando for sure. In fact, I'm sure he's representing zillions of people to do that.

He left 5 years ago

5 years ago, a very great legend passed on. It's no other than the King of Pop, the late Michael Jackson.

When the name is mentioned, there are mixed reactions about him. It's such a pity that a man with such great talent had to leave us at an early age of 50. He's definitely not your next door guy. Don't expect him to lead a normal life as an average guy. He started his career when all the other children were having their childhood. He didn't have one. It's really very sad. Again, if he did, I guess you wouldn't see him with that success in his life. And, maybe, that was why he was extremely friendly with children. You can't blame him, can you?

Heal the world. I love this song. Michael and his humanity. I can't see anyone else singing songs like that. How moving. It's reality, and that sucks. We need the world to be a better place to live in. The faith we have for human race is dying and fading away. Thank you, Michael :) Reality check.

Physically, he may not be here anymore with us, but he will always remain as a legend that made a difference to billions of people. This guy is definitely magnificent. It's an honor to live 25 years with him on the same planet. :D

Emergency Couple

I started watching this drama which was produced early this early. I was rushed into watching this lately by a not-so-drama fan. So, it has to be good somehow, right? I am watching this drama called "Emergency Couple." Those who follow Running Man series will know this drama as it's starred by their ace star, Song Ji Hyo.

I have always liked the main star. This time, apparently not. This is Pil Mo. He may not look like your typical Korean guy look. But, omg, I love his rugged look. His hair, omg. There's just something in him. I love this drama, except that I want her to end up with him. Though I have not watched all, I know who she will end up with. It's so sad. I want it to be Pil Mo! Happy Advanced Birthday to him! :P

2013 Seoul Day 6 Part 1

It's already Day 6. After the lovelocks in Namsan Tower on Day 5, I actually went to see Cheonggyecheon stream that connects with Han River in Dongdaemun.

It was not managed well, and it used to be dry and dirty. They have then decided to restore the whole stream that it's now that clean that it is said to be able to drink it from the stream. Every night, couples and friends will spend their night here chilling out. I wish I have it here. haha.

The starting of Day 6. It's breakfast time. A soya and a sandwich.

Ah, that's me. Right in front of YG Entertainment! Weeee~ That's where they are, oh Big Bang :P It's not as complicated as what you think. Just take the green line to Hapjeong Station exit 8. It's not right in front of the station and it's not visible enough from the station itself. It's just about 10 minutes walk from there. You will walk pass a gas station, some shops and etc. I walked through worldcup-ro-1-gil and Huiujeong-ro-1-gil before I arrived. Yay! There's a mini mart right in front, it was GS25 if I am not mistaken.

Then, it's time to meet the monkey. The monkey introduced this bossam or 보쌈. It was heavenly. It's a pork dish whereby its center piece is pork belly, boiled in spices and thinly sliced. You eat the meat wrapped. The combination of everything goes perfectly well. There's no other food I will ask for.

That's the monkey! Weeee~ I'll wait for you here.

And then, after shopping in my favourite place, Ehwa Women's University, here I was for dinner after all the carrying.

2013 Seoul Day 5 Part 3

I don't know why, I just have to pay so much to travel this far, and torture myself. Just, why? I am so not a physical person, to be hiking up, climbing, unlimited walking. It's really isn't me. Fate had fallen upon me and made me hike this far up.

Just by the way, when the sun was already setting before I even arrive up there. Sad it is. It's already more than half way through there with my super heavy bag pack. With that, it became so hot. Thank God, it was already the evening. The best time to visit the tower is the evening anyway when the lights are lit up.

Since that I couldn't get there on time, this is the pic. Sunset half way through.

This is what I have been hiking up for. Namsan Tower! I prefer to call it as Namsan Tower, rather than what it's known now as, which is Seoul Tower.

There are so many tourists that come up here, included Korean celebrities and couples, and we have program such as We Get Married. This is a favorite place for that.

That's the love locks. It symbolizes their love for each other. Apart from these lovelocks, there are restaurants there too, and one of them is the revolving restaurant.

2013 Busan Day 2 Part 4

After Shinsegae, walked quite a bit to this place called K-Pop 3D Cinema which has opened in Busan. Isn't it awesome?

It shows like live recording concerts, all in a 3D theatre. It is mainly for Japanese and Chinese markets. When I was there, there were no shows I have forgotten why. Tickets can be booked online in their website.

BIFF ... familiar? Haha it's the Busan International Film Festival and this is their place in Haeundae-Gu. It's probably the biggest event in Busan.

Haha .... awesome.

Next stop was to Gwangalli Beach (광안리해수욕장). This is another famous beach there and they have very fine sand that it makes it so nice to walk on it. Another place for cultural events, water sports and stuff like that.
Take subway line no. 1 from Busan Subway Station and transfer from subway line no. 1 to no. 1 at Seomyeon Station. Get off at Gwangan Station(subway line no. 2, exit 3 or 5) and walk 5 minutes.

There are so many restaurants, bars, cafes, all along the beach and you will never go hungry there. Problem is, you don't know which to dine in.

Monks are happy when they drink :P

Skanky Girl Walking Down The Street

I was watching ANTM on Sunday and I was horrified literally. I wasn't sure which season was I watching previously. It's either last season or the last 2 seasons and I don't remember it was this dramatic. The dramas, the tensions, my gawd, by watching it, I felt the stress. Man.

It's between the 2 neighboring countries. From a third party point of view, tho J is the so-called problematic one, I see N as one too. It's not about overly emotional or that kind of crap, it's just merely dramatic. Both equally has attitude problem. I'm neither a fan for any of them.

If this happen in my life, I will prefer to stay away and distance myself as far as I can. I have enough things happening in my life and I don't need all these crappy stuff surrounding me.

Recently, I got to see a woman 3-4 times a week. I do not know her personally, but as long as you are not visually impaired, you will be able to see the way she dresses is so skanky. The way she dresses is like going for a wedding or cocktail dinner with full make up on. The way she walks, gives out the impression that she thinks she's some sort of supermodel. To me, she is a big time failure in that. Please, people don't walk like that with that kind of darn face. If all she wants is attention, I guess she got it. It just not the kind of attention she wants I supposed. Honestly, she really looks damn hideous and disgusting. Oh, and the way she acts is like as if the whole world owes her. How about no? Nobody got time for that.

I can assure that after awhile now, she is just some insecure troubled female species. That is really unappealing and repulsive with an obnoxious attitude. Great combo. I don't know why nobody says it, that the way she dresses is really not swanky and in fact, it's superseded. Not sure if she realize it. That's very sad. :(

2013 Busan Day 1 Part 1

This was last year's trip back in end of September to early October. Since that I have tried Spring, I shall now try during Fall, except that Fall came late last year. Boo! It feels so summer. Damn!

Arrived at Gimhae airport in Busan.

It's very important to have subway maps in Korea. I'm not sure about other places, but Korea is a must. You're practically travelling around with subways, unless you are rich and loaded, then cab that is.

First meal of the day isn't too bad, except, I don't know what I ate. This is the first time they did not cook for us. Usually, the employees will cook and we as the customers just eat what we are supposed to eat

As I was there in Busan, they were preparing for one of the biggest event in Busan, if not the biggest. The Busan International Film Festival. I just missed it by a day. How distressing and tragic.

If you are the one that stays connected to the social media, you would have seen the video or article of Miley Cyrus in the VMAs by now.

I would not have thought that she will be to this extent. From the very beginning, I just did not like her. You know, humans give out a certain vibe. I just can't remember what vibes she gave out from the beginning but it's not something that we all like.

Look at it now, goodness me. What she did there was absolutely disturbing and aggravating. She should honestly be banned from the public. We all know, all she ever wanted was that attention. Whether it's positive or negative, it does not really matter. She just wants and needs it. It was very unnecessary for her to act in such a way and definitely very inappropriate.

Normal guys and girls alike, it's something we do not wanna see. Her actions were detestable. It really appears like she's from a very backward, coarse and rough upbringing. Such a life, oh damn.

한국: Day 4 Part 5

It's already the 5th part of our Seoul tour on Day 4th. It's not an exact Day 4th as I have minus off the days where pictures were not taken due to either flight or shopping haha.

Next stop was Bokchon area. If you're wondering where it is, it is where a drama was filmed few years back starring Lee Min Ho and Son Ye Jin in this traditional house. This drama had increased the likeness for Lee Min Ho as you can see his fan base expanded after that haha.

They have the names on top of it. It's a very nice feeling there and you gotta walk uphill. It's a compulsory exercise aha. This is the house they filmed in. It's just too bad the owner of the house had changed the name haha.

After all the walking, we finally met up with Roy. Ahh it has been such a long long time, probably 7 years ever since he left KL. Heard of Psy's Gangnam Style, right? He took us to Gangnam area before the place was filled with tourists as the song was not out yet at the point of my visit. Yeah the background is actually Gangnam haha.

It's ice cream! You know what's great about travelling to places like this. It's ice cream! There are wide varieties of drinks and ice cream, or snacks. I've not managed to try all but the ones I have tried, I like it a lot. Ice cream during winter is the best ever feeling. Unfortunately, it was just spring but it was chill enough. ^^

Back in our place, we were talking there with ice cream, no alcohol this time, don't worry haha. Yeah finally, the day has come to an end. It has been a tiring day.

I am currently watching Flower Boy Next Door. So far it is a light drama, not as intense as When the wind of winter blows which is superbly melodrama.

The songs are also very light in this drama. This is the best song I can find though I am unsure if this is the OST or just a fan made video using Lee Seung Gi's song. It is most likely not the OST as I can hardly find it.

I'm sure that if you are into K-Pop, you would have heard of SNSD or Girls Generation that consists of 9 girls. I'm definitely not a SNSD fan. But, you gotta admit that their songs are catchy. I just don't like their angelic image. Haha. At the same time, they are hot. The guys that I know who is into K-pop will most likely say they like or love SNSD. For this song, it's not the typical girls image. I love this, coz it's different from their previous songs, it has different elements this time around. This time, it's street wear, a bit rugged and I love that! Lyrics time! Korean Golden Disk Award

The Korean Golden Disk Award is going to be held in Sepang this month. There are more than 20 international Korean acts that are coming down. How exciting. Deep down, how I really wish I can go! I know it's just a wishful thinking.

Those who do not know, it's equivalent to the Grammy's Award. It's so near yet so far. It's impossible to be buying the tickets. Those who say they wanna go and wanna get the tix, nice try! Like wow, you're definitely going.

Before you guys can even tell me that sentence, I already know the price. It's not something you and I can afford as tickets are priced at a close to 700 bucks and 1000 bucks. So, dream. Unless you are that rich, then please support it.

I might not be able to afford that, but for sure, I am supporting it in different ways such as, voting haha.

Kim Jong Kook - Men Are All Like That 남자가 다 그렇지 뭐

Though he has a long list of success, I only found out about Kim Jong Kook when he released the song "Don't Be Good To Me" after his military service when I saw a video on MTV back then. When I heard his voice, I was like, this guy's voice is different, he can sing in such a high tone. Wow. Then, only I found out that his voice is known as "mosquito voice" haha.

Recently, not exactly recent though, he released a song called "Men Are All Like That." I love that video so much because it features one of my fave ... Song Joong Ki. haha. If you watch variety shows, I'm sure you know him. He's a regular in Running Man and Family Outing. :)

Nice Guy

In recent weeks, I have been watching this Korean drama called Nice Guy or Innocent Man which is also airing in KBS World Astro now. I first heard about this drama from the newsfeed in Song Joong Ki's page, I instantly decided to watch this drama without knowing even the synopsis. As there are too many dramas around, I can't watch all, I need to hand pick. There are so many dramas to watch, but I only have 1 pair of eyes, 1 pair of ears, 24 hours a day which includes a need to work, eat, sleep and shower which means I can only watch one at a time. 



세상 어디에도 없는 착한남자 or The Nice Guy Never Seen Anywhere In The World. It's starring Song Joongki and Moon Chae Won. Even Park Si Yeon is there whom I don't like as she's a villain there. Oh and not to mention Lee Gwang Soo (he's the guy in running man). haha.

It's about a guy who took the blame on his gf's behalf for killing a man in a motel room. It's about revenge and revenge because he felt betrayed by his first love. All the suspension that involved in this drama, omg, and the flow of the drama was so perfectly put in. It looks like the writer had put a very sad ending, but it ended up very happily, sweet and simple and I love it.

It's a must-watch drama!

This is a short video about a guy who finally became friends with a girl of his dreams. There was a second chance then. I love short videos like this.

But, in real life, second chance is a rare occasion, and it doesn't always come, nor does it happen to everyone.

And yeah guys, it's not all about the mr perfect that we are all looking for. You don't have to be the mr perfect. All you need is to be yourself, and that's all that matters. You don't have to be pretend to be someone you're not as truthfully, that's a turn off. We can sense it if you are pretending to be someone else. If the girl likes you, then good for you. If the girl doesn't like you, she's not for you. It's as simple as that. Sometimes, it is the imperfections that make us all human. It is the combination of 2 people's imperfections to make life a beauty. Be yourself, and grab the chance. Second chances don't always happen. When there is, make full use of it because it's too late to ever regret anything in life.
