I was out with the #kws last month during CNY. It was the first this year, and it has been quite awhile we haven't stayed out that late. It wasn't really late, just 2AM maybe?
By the time we finished both the movies, it was already 12 ish 1 and we haven't had our dinner.
What made me mad was the fact that when we were in the midst of wefie, one stupid damn idiot came from afar wanting to take our pictures. C'mon! What a disgrace and despicable thing to do. Taking people's picture without their consent? It's a crime if you think about it. Taking one's property is stealing which is a crime. ASK first before doing it. It's not like I'm gonna say yes to any of that. But, be a man, be a human to be upfront of whatever you wanna do.
Then, we headed to McD. This was interesting. We sat, we ate, we talked. Typical. This older looking woman, or in another term, we call her ahjumma (aunty), sat at the next table. As we were laughing and talking, I noticed like there was someone starring and glaring at us. You just can't explain but you know that feeling. When I looked at her, she started scolding us. For obvious reason, we were speaking in English. But, she said that in Chinese. "I know you are talking about me. Don't pretend. Even if you speak in English, don't think that I don't know. If you dare, speak in Chinese, why speak in English." And, she left. We were left blank. Since when we were talking about her, I just didn't know. Aunty, this person here doesn't speak Chinese. Enough said.
My life is dramatic, I know that.

UK: London Day 1 Part 2
After the sightseeing is done, we had to confirm the ticket for the shows. If you're at a far away place like this and not see any of their box offices, why? Just, why, right?
We bought for Lion King. Ah my childhood favorite. Not sure why, but I remember Lion King vividly out of so many cartoons and movies around.
This is their signature, their box-shaped telephone booth.
To be honest, an award winning gay bar? Located in Leicester Square. Something very interesting. It's called the Ku Bar.
Then, it's time to look for food. Back to the Asian food. Chinatown located at Gerard Street. The whole street is just chinese.
To a Malaysian standard, this is very super average. But, if it's by its own, I guess it's okay.
Then, a goodnight drink from Uncle Gino. What a life, right? haha
It's going to be a long day out the next day. I'm sure.

RIP Robin Williams 1951-2014
It was such a sad day waking up from this news, that the comedian Robin Williams had passed away. It wasn't due to old age, instead, he committed suicide. He's not even old, just 63.
He brought laughter and joy to billions around the world and yet deep down, he could not make one person happy, himself, for, he was suffering from depression. Why is it always like that? The evil ones live happily til the end, and the kind hearted ones had to suffer from all these pain.
The mental health of someone is way much more major than physical health, and this is an issue that had always been ignored and it's really very scary. If it's not being addressed, it ends up fatal.
Rest In Peace, be at a better place, free from all this suffering you have to endure here.

The Other Woman
Ah, so the other day I went to watch this movie, The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz. There's Nicki Minaj there too, but it's just a small part of it. Omg, it's just too vulgar to even look at her.
This is a very light movie, good for me. I don't like movies that make me think. I love straight forward movies.
It's about 3 women whom a man had cheated on at the same time. Against all odds, 3 of them became friends and decided to pay a sweet revenge. It's just a movie of course. How often do you see things like that happen. I am not discounting that this for sure will not happen in our daily life. It is still possible but the percentage of this happening, is really rather low.
I love comedies. Therefore, I automatically love this.:D

The Journey
The Journey
This is the first Malaysian movie I have watched this year. This is about a girl who was going to get married with a foreigner, with all the obstacles they need to go through with different beliefs and traditions with a conservative background.
The actress was pretty but the acting was rather flat and emotionless. Some parts were quite ridiculous. But, let's not focus on that part.
I like how the movie flows, the actual message the director wants to deliver. It's quite a nice, straight forward movie. I really believe this movie is a success. Benji was adorable there :P

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty
I watched this movie the other day, The secret life of Walter Mitty. Ben Stiller had both directed and starred in it. He's such a day dreamer and that reminds me of myself haha, except that I'm not that extreme. Now, I should feel so proud of myself because my day dreams did not hinder me from my daily life. Otherwise, I just don't know how great will the consequences be.
Actually, I really love the character of Todd hahahaa ... it's just so damn funny. He's a dating agency where Mitty had signed up for. They were caught up in an awkward situation when these both guys met as Mitty needed to have someone to bring him out from behind bars haha. I love Todd. hehe.

Conjuring
I know this had been the talk of the town now. You can hear along the streets, or even your friends would ask you "Have you watched Conjuring?"
This is a very stressful moment. Based on the convincing skills of some people, I actually tagged along to watch this movie. As this is based on a true story, I really wanna know what can happen.
The spectral feeling started at noon itself when I was thinking if I can just pull back or if anyone wanted the ticket. I was so frightened just imagining the situation I'll be in. Background story, my last horror movie was Ju-on which was a decade ago. Even the light one I cannot take it, what more this.
I can say, it's freaking scary. I was so stressed up that I almost walked out. I just couldn't take it then instead of watching at some point, I whatsapp-ed. Oh and not to forget I was using my jacket either to cover my eyes or ears. So basically I didn't watch the movie you think? Wrong. I know exactly what happened because most parts were too abrupt.
I didn't know there's something called paranormal investigators. 8 generations of family had died before that and as obvious as it had sounded, the farmhouse had been cursed. Ah the doll in the movie looks so freaking ugly but the actual doll looks kinda cute haha. Ed and Lorraine Warren not only investigate this episode, but more too such as Amityville and some others. However, this has got to be the most challenged investigations.
What I was really taken aback was the exorcism that Ed had conducted though he has no prior experience hands-on. He only assisted during the past experience. It looks really creepy and horrifying that it will go down the spine. Now I know that this will exhaust the victim to the max. Oh, I really didn't know that those that had not been baptized are not allowed to have the Priest/Father to have exorcism conducted on them. Instead, they need to wait the approval all the way from the Pope himself. Woah! That's really an information.
If being asked again, despite watching it once, will I go the second time? Upright NO!

Man of Steel
A man was stolen that night
Just like any other Monday nights, we have changed the place to Cineleisure. It has been 3-4 weeks now that Monday has been our movie night. This time, it's Man of Steel. Reviews had been bad, that the movie sucks, that Superman is not superman, this and that.
Personally, I like the beginning of the movie. It's a very different approach instead of the other typical Superman movies. This Superman superhero had been here for as long as we can remember. We practically grew up watching Superman.
It's only when Lois came into the picture, that things started to get bimbo-ish. In other words, her character there doesn't reflect her being the smart character we have always known her as, instead, the bimbo one. There are quite a few of commercial breaks in between, the electrifying eyes of Lois & Clark in the middle of nowhere. HAHA! That's like a romantic comedy we were all watching.
The actions of course get very ridiculous as it approaches the movie closure. This will be no different. I have no complaints about Henry Cavill though.
This superhero has been here all our lives. But, one thing for sure, not to have any expectations when you watch this movie. Do not expect this to turn out like the other ones because obviously, it isn't. Walk in with an open mind. haha.

Now You See Me
It was last Monday when we went to watch this movie since that we have watched Fast & Furious, and Man of Steel has not released here in the cinemas yet.
We do not know what was this movie about, we did not see the trailer, read the synopsis or anything like that. We bought the tix and walked in.
It's about a group of magicians who apparently robbed a bank for real and gave the money to the audience. That's all I can say and it's a rather cat and mouse race. The guy in the movie reminded me very much about The Social Network as Mark Zuckerberg. It turns out to be the same guy, Jesse Eisenberg due to the way he talked.Morgan Freeman is also there haha.
I love this quotes from the movie
"The closer you think you are, the less you'll actually see."
"The more you look, the less you see."
"First rule of magic: always be the smartest person in the room."
This is totally unexpected and it was an awesome movie. This is definitely recommended!

The Tower 타워
Ahhh...finally I managed to catch The Tower in the cinema before they decide to take it off the listings.
This is a South Korean disaster movie called The Tower in which I have been yearning to watch for God knows how long. This is a movie you see people dying, people screaming for help, and ignoring your conscious mind, you only want to live. You do not care if the others are children or old folks, you just want to live.
Every minute of this movie are is full of excitement. I feel that the actors and actresses had played the respective role really well. I don't know any casts in the movie except Son Ye Jin. haha. There are some funny scenes as well, check it out.
It's really sad to see that the fire man has to die in the end. :(

IMAX TGV is open
After the long wait renovation, TGV IMax 1 Utama finally opened its doors few days ago. This time it's located the floor above Isetan and the escalator is located just outside Toy R Us.
It looks so much better now compared to before which is way bad. I mean, it has to be better right? The settings and all is pretty awesome I feel. Nice!
So, that's when I watched Life of Pi, the fantasy adventure novel that was written many years back, directed by Ang Lee. It's about a boy who was looking for who he is spiritually, who was the only survivor or the only few ones from a shipwreck. He then gotta survive with a tiger called Richard Parker. It's quite a meaningful movie, worth a watch.
The next day, I watched The Hobbit. Despite its box office success, it's definitely not something I have enjoyed. It was very draggy and boring. The not-so-much adventure took us just a lil under 3 hours sitting there. The question is, is it really even necessary to produce this movie? Hmm. Maybe, it's a much simpler version of the whole LOTR, it focused on the hobbit with the drawfs. I think I enjoyed the part with Gollum the most haha.

The Thieves
Finally, I've watched The Thieves, 도둑둘 all for the money, one for the revenge and a man by himself, a Korean production. It isn't purely Korean, it's a mixture of Korean, Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and some English as well.
Damn, it's worth watching, action comedy. Of course, as expected and always had been, some scenes were censored. What's new right?
The casts are not the faces you have not seen before. They have been around and acting. Definitely a thumbs up.

Step Up Revolution & Hantu Gangster
Recently, I have been going out for movies. Well, not recent to be exact, more like it has been an on-going thing. How did I even live without movies before for so many years, made me wonder.
Anyway, the last 2 movies that I watched were Step Up Revolution and our local production movie Hantu Gangster
I was looking really forward for this movie, perhaps, a little too high expectations. I don't simply miss dance movies unless I really don't have the time. This is not a typical dance movie of participating in competitions. Nothing of that sort. The dance was not that many and the story tend to be a little draggy in my opinion. If you have not watched, please don't expect too much. Of course based on personal opinion, but I don't quite like it this time.
This is a must-watch for Malaysians. It's of course a Namewee production. It touches on the issues we have to date, the unity, the racial issues, issues that have always been there but not actually acknowledged. What had causes conflicts, the bitterness and hatred that develop due to the parties with evil intention can cause a fall.
I really love watching local production. Of course, I do need to understand the language as well, so, it's best that it's a mixture of the 3 languages that are so commonly used here. My first local movie that I have watched was Spinning Gasing, then Sepet. The most recent one before this was also a Namewee production - Nasi Lemak. This time is even funnier than that. It's definitely worth watching.

Wedding Diary
Yesterday, I went to watch the Wedding Diary. Though it's in an alienated language to me, but I watched it. The good thing about being here is that they have subtitles. haha. So, it's cool.
That movie highlights the reality, like what really happens to date. Wedding nowadays is like a business thing. The difference of before and after getting married, how people change. Maybe, people are too comfortable with each other, they start to take things for granted. How men change overtime. It's not the same when they were just going after you, and after they get together with a girl, everything changes. They no longer do what they used to. They no longer treat you like how they used to. Reality. Women in the other hand, has a best or close friend that will waste the guy's money.
When people attend a wedding, it depends how grand it looks like, it depends in which location it is held in, that factors determine the money inside the angpao. Men want their pride. They can't bear to lose even one bit of it. Even if they are not exactly rich, they wanna do it grand because of their pride.
The disagreement between families can cause havoc arranging for the wedding. A wedding supposed to be only that 2 people, but apparently, it isn't. It's about friends, and families and the last comes in is the couple getting married. The tense and stress going through the preparation is horrendous.
After watching only I realized that going through a wedding preparation is just horrifying. That is just the beginning of all. It comes along the What Ifs later on, after the wedding night. It's kinda scary looking at it. If all turns out well, it's cool, what if it doesn't. The begin of a nightmare.

Step Up 3
After all has been said about this movie, I finally went to watch myself. I did not watch the 1st and 2nd part, so there is nothing I can compare it to.Step Up 3 ... a must watch for all those who love dancing. The plot, storyline, acting, has really nothing to shout about. Really, nothing. All is pretty ordinary, nothing too memorable. Luke is cute, but he is lacking of something attractive in him, I just don't know what. While Natalie, I just don't like her.
However, when it comes to the dancing, the choreography, I went insane. Omo! The dancing is just awesome. It reminds me that I have been missing dancing a lot, like hell a lot. This movie is a stepping stone to remind myself I really need to do something, not just sitting around do nothing, just hoping inside that when the next day comes, I will be dancing. There is no such thing. I need to find a place where I can be dancing again. I really need to. I stopped dancing few months back, it's time to start it again. I know, this time, for sure I can go to one. I was so determined, the next day, I went searching for a studio. Guess what? I got it. This is what happens, when you believe in something, and you put an effort and be determined, you will get it. I wanna feel it once again, the place I once was.

Biggest Loser Asia Finale
It was Asia's Biggest Loser Finale yesterday. The winner is finally announced. The host for this whole competition is none other than our well-known local Sarimah.
This can be even more interesting than American Idol. Seeing the contestants the battle to lose weight, going through emotional constraints along the way, and the result is all worthwhile.
It is divided into two teams, one is red, and the other is blue. Of course, they are guided by two personal trainers who kept on motivating the contestants to cut that fat. The contestants stayed in a villa, exercising all day long. The ones that got eliminated in the early rounds came back on stage and by looking at them, they really lost so much weight I find it so so impressive, and just by looking at the before and after, gave me a shock really. It's such a dramatic change, and see the improvement is I think really incredible. So when there are only left with the Final 4 ... all of them gotta pack their bags to go back to their real life where the real challenge is because temptation is practically everywhere. I am exceptionally impressed with Simon, Garry to name a few who got eliminated in the early rounds. Omg. Just omg.
Take a look.
Some of them lost so much weight you could not recognize them anymore. And I must say, they look GREAT. Talking about transformation.
Well, the last 4.
As expected Martha did not win because she was indulging herself with all the nice delicious food once she walked out from the villa. However, credits to her she put some effort. Also, one can't deny she looks so much better, like way better in comparison when she just joined the competition, and of course she is the only female there. :D *applause*
Aaron, our homegrown contestant. He shed off quite a bit of weight too but ... it's not enough. Bravo nevertheless!
Carlo. Personally, I think he deserves to win so much more. He put so much effort, he was battling all the way, and when you look at him yesterday, he looked like a different guy, a real transformation that you see. Most important he looks so healthy, so fit and you see him as a deserving winner. Well, though he did not win, he is already a winner himself. He was so energetic all the time.
David. He is the winner. But, look at him, I don't see the winner in him. Yes, he shed so much weight, he lost so much weight but ... it's not about losing weight. He looks like he went fasting and starve himself. Honestly, he looks so haggard and so unfit that he could fall anytime.

All's Well Ends Well
Today, or rather yesterday, was the night I got abandoned, or more like I felt like an abandoned child, without dinner, without food, all alone in the dark, at home, alone. Sounds so pathetic, and my heroine came to my rescue. Haha. Suddenly suddenly, when I was having dinner, SP called pulak, woa double. But anyways, I had dinner thank you.Now I am known as super free, like really duper free, so those who need companian, I will be there. So Heroine was asking me when am I free for a movie. I told her I am always free these days, just a call will do I will be right there. So, we have decided to go for a particular movie after our dinner. We tried our luck in Cineleisure the queue was so long. However, that was not the main problem, the thing is the movie was not showing there.
Then, we tried our luck in GSC 1 Utama. I told her, why not call up to make a telephone reservation instead. We wanted to watch All's Well End's Well. Okay, more like I wanted to watch. The poster looked nice, so before it came out, I already intended to watch. Who knows, these bunch of people, namely Louise Khoo and gang were in town to promote this movie, so ... they were the last celebrities I met face to face before I resigned :( boo. It's okay, bai bai celebrities, I can't see you anymore. Haha. Damn.
This will go down to history, that this is the first time I told Heroine I wanted to watch a Chinese movie. In usual circumstances, she is the one dragging me to watch a Chinese movie. Well, I need a laugh badly, so Chinese movie will be the best option. I wanted to watch a movie from last year, and now only I got a chance to watch. Ahh~ I felt so nice. It's worth the watch, and though I got distracted by my own thoughts at some point of the movie, I enjoyed. However nice the movie was, some retarded people spoiled my mood at the beginning. They were kicking the chair so nicely, until I nicely told Heroine, why are these people being such an asshole, don't they have their brains, if not, just go and *censor* themselves instead of kicking other people's seats. They did not thereafter, maybe they heard, maybe not I don't care. They started making noise, and I just said shuddup. Again, I don't care if they heard it. I need some peace watching movie. Why people don't understand and learn some movie etiquette.
Ah before that, we did something, back to the past, back to our schooling days. Since we were in 1U, and all shops were already closed, we went to play some games. Haha damn, feels so good to be young again. The car racing game is a must, I have always enjoyed playing those. Reminscing of those times. Even though it was just for that half an hour, but ... at least there were times that I could feel young again.

Movies I hate and I love
I was a movie addict before, many many years ago, when I have never ever ever missed a movie in the "Now Showing" list. I go to movies few times per week. Later on, I went becoming a drama addict, but that's only for a short period of time. Then, out of a sudden, everything stopped. I am now a Facebook addict? LOL.
I usually love retarded movies, movies that I don't have to use my brain to think what is happening, what is going on and stuff like that. I hate to think. Movies are meant for relaxation, a way to de-stress, not to give me even more pressure, as if I do not have enough of that at work. Movies like Harry Potter, LOTR ... is really not what I like to see in movies. When I was young, is okay to watch these kinda genres of movies, because I only have classes to go to, so .. it's good to use my brain, using my intellectual, but it's not my preference still. These days, I can hardly find time for myself, and what's more watching a movie, even more I gotta really choose a good movie, well at least movies that fits my preference.
The last of the list should be horror movies. I hate and I meant I hate horror movies a lot, because I am not those that after the movies, I get scared, or I laughed about it, the next minute I forget about it. I am not at all like that. I start imagining what happens in the movies happens in real life. Sometimes, I think ... imagining can really take a toll on you, so conclusion, don't involve yourself in anything creative, such as, imagining is also one part of being creative. LOL. For instance, I watched Ju-On .. and .. guess what, the next time and next few times I went to shower, I freaked myself out big time. Other than these, there are also retarded things I thought about, such as, in Transformers, when I was coming home, I saw a car speeding, I imagined it could transformed. I know, I know, it's all nonsense, and I know I am imagining, but I can't help it. Sometimes it's funny, but .. sometimes, I just freak myself out. like .. a lot. No horror, a big NO.
I know this guy, Mr Lim, whose favourite past time is by sending me links that has gotta do with horror stuff, ghost, and all those kinda stuff, just to scare me off, and I didn't like it, but he thought it was funny. How ungratefulboyfriend friend is he, don't you think? Each time he sends me stuff, I did not want to open, and I just refuse. The starting days I did not know, and I, being silly, went to open it, and ... tadaaa ... I get scareddddd. Until now, I don't open the links he send me. :D Ain't I smart now, Mr Lim? haha.
Retarded movies, comedies .. is MY type, but no, I don't have time for those. :( Unfortunately, and my temptation to watch movies isn't there anymore. That is why, I only watch movies less than 5 times per year. The ones I have watched this far is... Transformers, The Night in Museum II, Batman, Madagascar 2(was it this year or last year) ... haha .. gone case.

Transformers 2
Exactly one week ago, was the day that I went to watch Transformers 2 ... like finally since it has been released. Knowing that I am already a very sad person when it comes to movies, expect that. Maybe not all will agree on this, perhaps not everyone will say it's good, but I will say it's awesome. I enjoyed the whole movie. I enjoyed every minute of it and I did not even realize the time passed. That shows how much I got entertained. Maybe people can say I am lacking of good movies, but whichever it is, I came out from the cinema with a smiling face, minus the part that I gotta search for the exit to the car park haha. It was already almost 12. This is the only movie I was looking for :)
The last movie before Transformers was ... A night in Museum and before that was ... er .. Madagascar? Tell me about being sad.
I only go for certain movies, and Transformers is a must-watch for me. 1st part I watched ... not many, but .. considering it's me, it's considered a miracle. I watched 4 times in total. This time I think it's gonna be once only.
I don't watch all genres of movies. I mostly go for .. what I call as ... retarded movies. Haha. Well, movies that can make me laugh, as hard as I could, and it's a very good way to de-stress. To put it in simple terms, more like ... movies that can make you laugh without you understanding anything, without you using your brain to think what is happening, and what's going on, what is gonna be, I don't like that kinda movies, and I just don't like complicated movies. That is why Harry Potter, LOTR is not my kind of movie. Jackie Chan movies are the ones best suits me, coz his movies are simply retarded, in a good way of course. I don't have to understand and know, their actions is good enough to entertain me. haha.

Harvey!!! Harvey!!!
People can be weird as hell at times. They act in a way that make you stuck there, dumb headed not knowing how to react, not knowing how to respond to that action of theirs.
Words are well poisonous, we all know that. Whatever words that one intends to say, better make sure it's true or else karma will surely bring you down. You gotta repay everything that you have done. People are literally dramatic beings one shall say. Some are less dramatic and some are just ... well ... superbly dramatic. News spread like wildfire, so make sure it's true. Like ... rweallly true. Somehow, those words will reach out to the person involve.
I have not shared this here yet, but I am so uberly in love with Harvey ... yes again I am saying this, but it's the first time here okay. Who is Harvey? The Harvey in Batman of course. People love Joker for his outstanding performance, for sure it's outstanding, it's played by Heath Ledger man and his famous quote WHY SO SERIOUS? hahaa ... I simply love that. Back to Harvey, why am I loving him so much, blogging all over and telling all over about him. I love the Harvey in the end of the movie not the beginning when he was still the good guy. He was then caught in the fire, half of his face burnt. "What did you call me ... SAY IT ... It's two-faced guy" Yeahhhhh ... the evil side had come out of him.
In a matter of fact, Harvey is just another character in a movie. But, this character is what we get to see surrounding us, not knowing who is sincere to us, not knowing who is Harvey among us, not knowing who to trust and who not to. Harvey's character is usually bitching about the ones they close to or used to, and spread rumours to as many people as they can, try to bring them down as to want themselves to look good. Little did they know that what usually happens is people are not that blind to believe everything by words. Some of the Harveys that I came across before has really thick skin I must say. They still have the cheeks to talk to the person involve like as if nothig had ever happened, after what Harvey had done. Don't they feel embarassed or perhaps s/he does not know the difference between reality and fantasy. Absolutely nothing was done and yet ... Harvey was just acting like a jerk and people see him as just a loser. Pretending innocent, and pretending nice is not genuine and people SEE that you know Harvey.
Harvey is also a person who will be close to you only if he can gain something from you, sadly, we do have this sort of people around us, everywhere in the world.
People start asking, why is Harvey being so insane. Because he simple is, the insanity has taken Harvey's life and there is no turning back to the sanity world. When not anything of appreciation was ever done, it was totally alright until accusation came into the picture. Everyone has the limits and nothing matters anymore. Each time such a thing of that sort happen, people just look up, learn about it, say goodbye, leave and never look back. Ever wonder why are there no any chances for Harvey? He does not deserve anymore time people put on him, that he is just as sick as he looks, and he is not worth a single second from anyone, when people initially treated him genuinely and getting shitty things in return is out of the question.
Harvey is always saying that God will punish the wrong ones and I guess, he is now getting what he always say. What goes around comes around, karma mate. Now, being tortured, suffering in pain, who is concerned for you. Nobody. You suffer in silence, the torment to endure is unbearable but ... who cares anymore at this point of time. Harvey, look up in the mirror, look at yourself, do you know who are you looking at?
Harvey, I am so in love with Harvey, because it reflects something else beneath his character, that we face it in life. We don't face Batman in our life, there's nobody so good out there, try to save the world. You dont see someone flying in the middle of the night, getting hurt and all just to save you. My gawd who are you to kid. Joker, we dont face someone dressing like that in the middle of the street to begin with.
