Another goodbye

My last update on my job was 2 years ago when I left IKEA after a huge project I worked on which also happened to be my first legit and formal project I took on. From then on, I went to an e-commerce platform. If you're in Asia, you gotta work there to say you have worked in a large e-commerce company.

My mind wasn't at the best state when I attended the interview. But, I gotta do what I was hired for. I was lucky I got hired. haha. After 6-7 years of being around, it's still a start up culture. In comparison of PayPal, IKEA looks like a manual-labored company. I'm not going into the nitty-gritty stuff due to compliance and confidentiality (based on my own integrity, no NDA or anything like that). But, it came as even more of a surprise when I started working here.

Putting complaints of manual labor aside, you learn the most when being put in an environment like that. You don't maximize your learning from a well-established infrastructure because the AI helps you complete your job quicker, faster and more efficient.

I continue taking on the project management role, swaying further and further away from Compliance. Well, in project management, specifically in the Fraud/Compliance function haha. I left after 1 year and 8 months. I have heard people leaving within 3 months and I get it.

Anyone young, who has the drive and energy to put up with the effort and hours, go for it. Just don't expect things to be easy and chill. When it comes to learning curve, dang, there's a lot to learn even for someone like me (meaning not fresh grad). If you get a good lead, learn the most you can. They are the ones that make the difference and they make tough jobs more bearable.

That's where I worked. Be fully prepared for interviews if you plan to work there.

Hanging up my tag and lanyard. Goodbye Eco city.

Finally, the last time wearing lanyard. I was in the restroom haha.

My 3 weeks job

A long time ago when I was still young and innocent, I took up the hospitality course as my future was cloudy and bleak. You know how some people knew what they wanted to do, the path they wanted to go from a very young age? I did not have that. When I was in F4, I wanted to drop Accounts as I clearly did not have the brains or the interest for it. My teacher back then did not allow me. I ended up scoring 9/100 in the final examination. Cool huh? haha. So I withdrew from Business Admin course and took up hospitality only to end up taking Financial Accounting (wth?).

Anyway, I did my internship in Switzerland and happily flew home to be with my friends and family. I then started to work in a hotel here. It was tough, physically and emotionally demanding. I saw so many people cried due to the stress that they went through. Everyone cope with stress and pressure differently, but back then, I was stone cold. I did not understand it. After 2.5 years, I thought, it's time to resign as I could not take the pressure of working the graveyard shift every single week. It was too much and I was also getting older, my body might not be able to take that kind of intensity. I was turning 25. To add on to that, my low EPF, I can't retire with the rate it's going.

I attended a couple of interviews. One of that is a well-known foreign bank. Took me 4 hours just to get to an interviewer (those assessments, tests etc) only to find out that they were just paying a salary lesser than my hotel job. The disadvantage working in a hotel is that you get minimum EPF due to a rather low basic income. I used to get RM50 a month. Crazy right?

I went on unemployed for 6 months. I went to Korea to travel for 2 weeks then bum my way round for 6 months only to realize that my money is at "low." I grabbed whatever job that came offering to me just so that I can get cash in to my bank account.

This was purely for convenience. I took this job with a maid agency. I'm talking about something that happened 12 years ago, not today (or if it does, then I do not know). So I got hired from a maid agency as a consultant (in other terms sales). Though I did some sort of sales work (without the target), it's not my forte. I'm weak in that department, right until today. Okay, so judging from the office appearance, I cannot expect anything great or grand. I was dull, I was sluggish, I did not even know what I was doing there. One day, this kind client came by, as he was sending his domestic helper off back to her origin country. As an appreciation, he even gifted her a laptop. How nice and kind some people really are. He hasn't seen me before then, he asked what was I doing there in that agency. I explained my path and he said he's in the hotel industry for 10 years and there's a lot else to learn. Well, I may agree on that but I don't think I can take a hotel's lifestyle for much longer. But he said very softly to me to leave that company, I have got no future there.

I took that advice and considering all the things that have been happening there, I decided to leave. I just thought, what can I learn there? To match a client with a domestic helper? Is that success to me? Knowing the personality that I have, I cannot witness at all the fraudulent activities that were happening at that time and pretend it is okay. Even more so, since I work there, I was contributing to the fraudsters? It may be something "normal" within the industry for all that God knows but is it the right thing to do? The answer to myself was no, it is legally and morally wrong. The final blow was, I could not accept the fact that when a meeting occurs, someone smokes cigar in an enclosed room. Can anyone say anything regarding that? No.

I left after 3 weeks.

What's your vision?

Hej! It's about time I share what I have been doing the past 2 years. As mentioned here, my colleagues (back then) and I lost our jobs and with uncertainties had fallen upon us, our future was dark and gloomy. But, one door closes, another door opens.

With what I did previously, it came as a shock as to how I went through the interviews and got selected to join the project team. The competition was pretty fierce and aggressive. My experience prior to this is probably just 10-15% relevant to what it is in the project. I am really thankful and glad that I was jobless for only 4 months (including vacation to Seattle) before I started work. I have jumped in the trend into e-commerce, right before Covid said hello to all of us.

In these 2 years, it was such a rollercoaster ride, and being first time in such a huge project to open a store in PH, it's definitely an eye-opener to me personally. The amount of things I have learnt on the job is immeasurable especially in the payment aspect. Thank you to those that I have worked with, both internal and external. When I saw the door opened for the locals in November, I cannot help but to feel that this has got to be the biggest achievement thus far. It's especially heart-warming to see how we grew from zero to something so massive.

The only drawback is a contract-basis job. Considering that all the commitments we have in life, I can't do anymore contract-based jobs. It's human nature to want to feel secure. There's a lot of first-time in the job and saying thank you for the opportunity isn't enough.

A highlight in the whole experience is knowing how and why the founder started the company in the first place. And most importantly, I hope that the company continue to stand strong in what the founder believed in. Thank you for this experience! It was such a pleasure to be part of a strong team and I really enjoyed my whole journey here.

And heck, a very unfortunate news had befallen on my family and I thank God I was working for this company, and for this manager in particular who went out all the way to support my welfare and well-being.

This chapter has officially closed in July 2021 and I have moved on to something else :)

Happy New Year 2021!

I don't think there was anything great to look back to for the past year. It's not the typical year, but it's a year full of learnings and adaptations. It's our first time doing this together, regardless if you are a citizen or government.

I hope 2021 will be a way better year than the last. At least, we try to be responsible as adults, as a citizen of a country, caring for the people and the planet. Of course, we have to find a balance between safety and sanity.

If you are having a hard time, please reach out to someone.

This is our quiet celebration from PNB Hotel and Suites NYE. There was no fireworks or anything like that. Heck, it wasn't even any kind of party. It was just 4 people with nothing better to do, ended up having a nice, pleasant dinner and just chill out in the room.

Getting ready to go for our dinner. HAHAHA.

Our buffet. It was good, except that the guests there were not really compliant.

If there is nothing exciting going on, we create one. The older we get, it's less parties, or none. The way we define a chilling session would be very different from how we used to see life a decade ago.

I know I will not be able to adapt to non-traveling life for a very long time. So let's all hope together that things will be much better soon.

Here is to wishing everyone a blessed year, stay in good health, find stability, happiness, and everything that you wish for. At the same time, be thankful for all that we have been blessed so far.

Cheers! Or, we say tschüss!

Walking Away

"I'm walking away from the troubles in my life
I'm walking away oh to find a better day"

To those who are familiar, it's by Craig David. I'm so good at this and I can only get better with time. Being a Libran, they have to be surrounded with people, there has to be a companion at all times. That does not make them an extrovert. They just want someone to be around because they can't be alone.

So many years had gone by, and I am walking away more and more. It does not make me sad, it does not make me angry, because, each person you walk away from makes you a stronger person. Each phase is a lesson to learn. If you think about it, it's not that all a bad thing. In fact, if these people are toxic, it's best you do. You know it best if you should, or shouldn't. This can be your close friends, your favorite friends, or your best friends. It does not matter anymore if you have decided if you should leave. If you think you are falling back, being low, and all those things, it's a sign.
That's exactly how I felt. It was complaint after complaint. From work, to family, to friends, to just random stuff that happens daily and it can go on and on and on. Well, I am not oblige to listen to all these BS every single day. Eventually, one gets fed up. Haha. When the complaint starts, I would pretend that I'm busy. Hahaha. But, how much more can I pretend? Not much honey.

Okay, on a separate note, I was told that I should be nicer. I should be considerate on their feelings. Ooh? Makes sense. Yes, they are right. However, not knowing that they were the same to me. "They" is a very general reference, not anyone in particular by the way. I don't get it, and I don't understand. Why is it okay that they are mean to me, but it is not okay that I return the treatment? Let me get this straight. I have to be nice all the time, and they don't have to? I have to be considerate, but they don't have to. But, why? I love to be the Karma judge. haha. Apart from that, I am a strong believer in equality. So, let's scrap the idea of it's okay them being that, and not okay me being this.
What do you do? That's when you play Craig David's song - walking away. There's no reason for you to stay being friends with these people. And, do you know the world's population? I bet you can find more friends. You don't need these people. You're better off alone than to be with these bunch. It amazes me that that I can be as chilled as this when it happened. I was as chill as I am right now when I walked off.

I do know that whatever I am doing right now, there are spies. Regardless where I am. Whether it's over social media, or at the streets. I know, people are watching, and people are looking. As I said it, it does not bother me. If you think that I am alone and as lonely as the lone wolf, you're wrong. Again, think as you please. It's okay. Every individual has the right and freedom to think whichever way they want. Thank you for being part of my life, once upon a time. You can always reply me "you're welcome" I really don't mind. But, please ask me this question. "Are you happy?" YES I AM. hehe.

Being rude is a crime, learn to say "Hello"

The longer I live, the worse people are. More uneducated and uncivilized they become. It come to a point there's no more humanity.

I have encountered this many years ago, probably 11 - 12 years ago. Certain things don't change. I was so irritated back then, and if the same happens now, I will just be the same, an equal irritation, if not worse.

There are some things that you don't have to be told. It's human's basic manners. If you hang out with that person, regardless how close you are with each other, you cannot leave being courteous aside.

Back then, it was a female, came to the car, sat like a queen, without a word of greeting. She does not know that I am not ali (driver). haha. I did what I do best.

Fast forward, same stuff happened. This time, a guy, came to the car, and didn't greet, not a word. Well, despite doing them a favor, it's only common you say hi. I am not expecting like a formal greeting, but hey, hi, what's up, is that so difficult to do?

The difference now and then is ... I got more pissed now. Why? Being 30s and not know etiquette? I do not tolerate, considering I am doing a favor already, not asking anything in return. The other difference now is, I had to teach this person what basic manners is. OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS DUDE? I gave him 5 secs, and he didn't say a word. Automatically, I exploded. HELLO ARE YOU DUMB? Therefore, I told him that when you enter someone's car, it's only polite and courteous that you greet that person that pick you up and do not be rude by just sitting like as if that person owes you. What I got as a reply? A sarcastic hello. I was on the verge of throwing him out from my car. But, patience pays off, right? I was brought up to be kind and nice. The reason I held on.

Then, thinking, he learned and it is instilled in his damn brain. Apparently, I was wrong. He came in the second time, and it was well forgotten. I swore by myself that it was the last time I was picking him up. There's no more a next time. Why? I had to be cool like that. Haha.

Do you expect to be taught manners at this darn age? Hell no and in particular if you're older. Stop the crap and start learning manners. It's way too late to start learning but late is better than never.

The people around him may not have an issue with this, but I am really very particular. He should even thank me for teaching him manners. Who in the world would actually teach him, an older person manners? Ass.

Wait! Send yourself back to school please.

Happy New Year 2015! Goodbye 2014!

I am not going to recap what I have done for the year anymore, unlike the years before ever since I started blogging 9 years ago. This is just a summary in a short paragraph.

Before the year finally come to an end, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy New Year ahead.

It was definitely a very difficult year for Malaysians with 3 planes ended in tragedy. But, let's keep all our prayers and faith. Let's put all those behind us, not literally, but as a matter of fact, to move on.

On a personal level, it was a great year. Looking forward to even a better year ahead. With all the ups and downs, let us all gather to say adios to 2014 and say welcome to 2015.

Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and never brought to mind?
Should old acquaintance be forgot,
and auld lang syne?
CHORUS:
For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we’ll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
And surely you’ll buy your pint cup
and surely I’ll buy mine!
And we’ll take a cup o’ kindness yet,
for auld lang syne.
CHORUS
We two have run about the slopes,
and picked the daisies fine ;
But we’ve wandered many a weary foot,
since auld lang syne.
CHORUS
We two have paddled in the stream,
from morning sun till dine;
But seas between us broad have roared
since auld lang syne.
CHORUS
And there’s a hand my trusty friend !
And give us a hand o’ thine !
And we’ll take a right good-will draught,
for auld lang syne.
CHORUS

Dance Performance Halloween Party @ Hartamas Shopping Centre

This year, again,I celebrated Halloween in the studio. This year has been more happening. At least, it wasn't entirely in the studio. Last year, we had the walk around too but it's just walks and nothing else. Plus, there wasn't any Halloween song we practised to.

This year was amazing. We had a new group, and there's no emo emo stuff going on and best of all, we danced to Michael Jackson's thriller.

That guy looks scary and he sounded creepy too, all because he was drunk. Haha.

Our whole group is here. Well, some of the kids just dressed up that day and joined the photo session. We do not know who are they, just passer bys.

Of course, back at the studio. Yes, I love this picture a lot.

Here, is our studio. We had all together 5 performances. 2 of them were flash mobs, and 3 were actual performances. It was such a fun-filled event and I loved it so much.

Dance Performance Halloween Party @ Publika

It was last week, a week before the actual Halloween's Day. Publika was having this event and there were costume Halloween party there too. It's more of a contest.

Yeah, so that's why we have been busy for the past month practicing to Thriller. It's no other than Michael Jackson's famous Thriller dance.

That's the whole gang. All of us on stage. It was a small stage but yeah we all fit in.

Haha. We are the zombies.

It's just us. We did like 5 flash mobs after the actual performance.

Weeee~

Performance never felt so good before. This is something very new and exciting and I love it.

Managed to record the last flash mob. The person that supposed to record it arrived late. Therefore, no, I don't have the video for the actual performance, unfortunately. Look at the bright side, fortunately, there's a video for the last one. Haha.

Goodbye London & Europe, Hi KL

It has been three weeks that I'm away and right now, I'm already at Heathrow airport leaving London back to KL.

I has been so hectic, everyone has been so kind towards us, and that includes the weather. Beautiful weather. I can't ask for more.

Whiskey and Bagi, ciao. In 15 hours' time I should be back to the humid hot weather. Though the weather here is gloomy, I will opt for this weather than the one we get it back home.

Goodbye London and Europe. Til then, see you again.

2013 Seoul Day 6 Part 1

It's already Day 6. After the lovelocks in Namsan Tower on Day 5, I actually went to see Cheonggyecheon stream that connects with Han River in Dongdaemun.

It was not managed well, and it used to be dry and dirty. They have then decided to restore the whole stream that it's now that clean that it is said to be able to drink it from the stream. Every night, couples and friends will spend their night here chilling out. I wish I have it here. haha.

The starting of Day 6. It's breakfast time. A soya and a sandwich.

Ah, that's me. Right in front of YG Entertainment! Weeee~ That's where they are, oh Big Bang :P It's not as complicated as what you think. Just take the green line to Hapjeong Station exit 8. It's not right in front of the station and it's not visible enough from the station itself. It's just about 10 minutes walk from there. You will walk pass a gas station, some shops and etc. I walked through worldcup-ro-1-gil and Huiujeong-ro-1-gil before I arrived. Yay! There's a mini mart right in front, it was GS25 if I am not mistaken.

Then, it's time to meet the monkey. The monkey introduced this bossam or 보쌈. It was heavenly. It's a pork dish whereby its center piece is pork belly, boiled in spices and thinly sliced. You eat the meat wrapped. The combination of everything goes perfectly well. There's no other food I will ask for.

That's the monkey! Weeee~ I'll wait for you here.

And then, after shopping in my favourite place, Ehwa Women's University, here I was for dinner after all the carrying.

Sayonara 2013, Annyeong 2014

Each year, I usually do a summary of the highlights of things that happened in the year, and how it went. I believe, as I grow older, get wiser, things are not as dramatic as it used to be many years ago. Things had calmed down a lot, I start having a much more stable lifestyle. Speaking of age huh? No, not getting old still, but I appreciate sitting back to relax at times. Chaotic life is boring now.

January
It was when the year started. I had quite a lot of fun. Dwaeji came back for a short visit and we gathered as usual, the KWS hehe. Work had not been good.

February
It was Chinese New Year. Being Chinese, does not mean anything to me. It's about the holidays! It was a very memorable trip - to Japan. Never thought I'll be there.

March
We had our CNY Chap Goh Meh gathering there in Kyliie's place and knowing that the chef lives behind? Woah, indeed a small world huh

April
I felt the emotional strain the entire month that from emotional, it diverted into a physical pain. I fell sick the whole month, in and out of the clinic every single week. I fell from exhaustion, from fatigue. Things were looking so bad on my body and that's a sign telling me something. A change is just about to happen, and it depends on me really if to execute the change instantly. The moment I took that plunge, I recovered immediately. My first MC :(

May
It was our General Election and it was my first time witnessing, and participating in it. Also, to my horror so many things had happened during the whole process that I can't believe my ears and eyes. Well, welcome to Malaysia. Cut my hair short again as what I have always wanted. Nobody is going to say anything and it does not even bother if I am being labelled "ugly" haha. Also, the fact that I was bitter about someone taking advantage. It was frustrating but I began to accept it, re-live a moment, flashbacks and I had accepted with open hands.

June
Haze attacked us, polluted us nationwide. Health hazard. The first colleague left us :( Yay! I had monehhh!! That's work related.

July
It was the dance competition. After months of practice, finally, the day arrived. It was the trip of the year I guess - to Langkawi.

August
Oh god~ For the first time in years, I watched a horror movie. It's not something I can watch, horror. It freaks the hell outta me and I usually get really really stressed up. I was so right about myself. Oh~ and I met someone there through wechat. What a weird encounter.

September
It was my birthday, but before that I kinda fell into a little depression, the passing of my beloved furry sister. It was just that depressing to me.

October
Not sure if anything happened. Haha it was not documented. Oh ya I have almost forgotten, I went back to my home town. Oh, an increment was all I needed. Thank you hehe. This was also the month unexpected things happened.

November
It was Lober's full moon party for Hayley. Also, a very unconventional way to celebrate Halloween. It was our annual dinner and a prize is good enough.

December
Nothing much, a night over at Renaissance, enjoyed as much as I can. And now, it's 2 hours away from 2014.

Overall, it was a good year, with great things that happened here and there. Lessons learned along the way. We are always learning, whether it's knowledge based or it's a life's lesson. Regardless, it's beneficial.

Before the year officially come to an end, I would like to say, wherever you are, wherever you're gonna be, celebrate and be happy and let us all cruise through 2014 with positive mind, that greater things will take place. Whatever happened in 2013, had happened. Thank you 2013! Let's look forward to the year of greatness. May each and everyone of you be blessed with happiness, wealth and prosperity. Not doing anything this year, I need to have my beauty sleep in order to start my year with a bang! :D haha.

새해 복 많이 받으세요!
Happy New Year!!

The Libran's Birthday Part 4

This is the 4th part and also the last part in my birthday celebration. Beloved SP brought me to this place in Subang. You know how great my senses are especially in that area, I am completely clueless.

We had Spanish meal. You may not be very convinced that it tasted great. But, do not be sure that it's like what it seems like.

That's what SP had, and it was definitely great

Mine, and I know that the taste of it remains questionable by looking at this picture. But, I can assure that it was heavenly

Then, I had brownies, with the small birthday candle haha

That's the Libran

Of course, together with SP. Yeah just the two of us hehe.

That's enough for the birthday celebrations. I had a few more celebrations after that but, there are no pictures. So, the birthday celebration officially ends on this entry.

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

The Libran's Birthday Part 3

Then, there comes the next celebration.

It's a perfect Wednesday awaited me. First, was coffee in Starbucks. It was a very pleasant tea time before we head to our dance session. Wednesday is always a good day.

The bar~ Alcohol there was tempting.

That's us. We dined in Zander in Publika. It was a very relaxing night but if ask to review the restaurant, I am not impressed with it. It was average, nothing really stands out. The service maybe should train the staff on where professionalism lies and where the line is of being overly friendly? It will be a great idea.

2 days later, we headed over to Publika again. That was my third time there for that week.

Haha, he treated Korean dinner yay! And also the beer. Weeeee ^^

The Libran's Birthday Part 2

We continued our time talking, chilling out, relaxing for a beautiful evening like that. No pressure, not too chaos, and things were just great. It may not be a very eventful day, but it was very meaningful.

Ah~ We are wiser now haha

Tadaaa ... lol

Finally, the three of us together in one hehe

We hopped into Social after that for second round

Then, we called it a night.

The Libran's Birthday Part 1

I celebrated my birthday 2 months ago and this has got to be the quietest birthday celebration. No more partying like it used to be. It's not that I have aged, but I prefer a much calmer celebration. We have all done that many many years ago and those kind of celebration had become boring.

The office brought me this cake. So nice of them to be spelling my name correctly. I am very bothered by how people spell my name. The worst of all is when it is spelt wrongly by my own teachers for 13 long years, again and again.

Dede suggested that we celebrate it at Ante, a place famous for pork haha. I've never known this place. It was a very great ambiance to dine in.

Look at the food! Yums

Just when Kakak arrived. Surprisingly, he was on-time. Thought of asking him to settle the bill if he arrives late. The wine was very smooth.

Woolala~ all the porks in the world :D

Big Bang Alive Tour in KL Part 2

I was hoping and trying to read the weather that it won't rain on that particular day. No matter how much I have tried to pray and hope, luck was not on my side. So, it rained quite heavily. No matter how heavy the rain is, no rain can stop us from being there, from making this happen. It was because of the rain that it was delayed for 15 minutes as they need to sweep the water down from the stage or else I strongly believe they will start on time. There's something about Korean acts, they start on time unlike the other acts which I've attended who are from the Western countries.

That's how far we were. Still, out tickets price range is better than the 300+ or is it 200+ as theirs are even farther away from us. I don't mind standing as I don't feel my legs in pain at all as the attention and focus was on the 5 boys

That's us after the concert. Life has been so great.

Ahh ... the news of the successful concert the next day. I have attended a few concerts in the past and I must say that this time, it was such an awesome and great night that it had very much exceeded my expectations. Until now, it's still very fresh in my mind. They have sung so many songs, from them as a group, from their debut years to their solo albums and to this current album. They have all been marvelous. The performance throughout the night has been splendid. And .. because of this, Tae Yang had slipped. Damn, I just love their accents, sooo attractive! Til then, Big Bang, I hope to see you again here!!! Jongmal Gamsa Hamnida ^^

Big Bang Alive Tour in KL Part 1

The biggest day of the year had arrived. Even my birthday isn't as big as this. This is probably also one of the biggest day of my life. Something that I will definitely keep in memories for a very long long time to come. It was October 27th, 2012 that I was waiting with full anticipation. It was the day that I was going to attend Big Bang's Alive concert live in Stadium Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur.

Here are the tickets that L bought. With all the sweat and the stress that gone through, oooh ... this is the one, the tickets. Though it isn't what we wanted, but at least we were there. We initially were debating which tickets range we should go for. 388, 488 or 588 but it was selling like hot cakes, we only managed to grab the 191 tickets. But, it's cool.

Yeah .... oooh yeah ... Alive Tour. This is pretty cool man. This is the first time I am seeing them that they actually made effort even at the entrance.

Oops, that's me waiting for Dede to arrive. Omg, can't wait. So so excited.

Tadaaa ... our style of the day. Even though it was under the rain, it was all worth it. It's a style all the way from Jeju Island. Oh, the trend over there is ... people walk around with rain coats there haha

The Gift

It had arrived late, but better late than never. When you least expect that, it came at the door step. Omg, so cute. Soon enough, I will need to sleep on the floor to make place for all the soft toys. Haha.

This gom is super cute <3 I like!

Respect My Single Life

As I was thinking the other day, an ex colleague suddenly crossed my mind. It's an ex colleague I have no longer kept in touch with. When we were working, we were not some close bonded colleagues, and we were not working side by side. We were just working in the same department, not sub-department. Sometimes, we don't even see each other once a month.

Yeah, 4 years ago, she commented something really really ridiculous. She found out that I was going out drinking that night. She asked if my bf minds about it. At that age, do I really need a bf at that time? I smell freedom, okay. Plus, I didn't say that I have a bf, so what makes her think that I have. I said, why not, I don't even have a bf. She then gave a very dramatic response like, where in the world have I been that I do not have a bf. Hello? Woman, you have one, planning to settle down doesn't mean that I need to have one too, right? I was young and I need to enjoy my life like some crazy ass first.

She went on nagging like why don't you have a bf. At that age, you should have one already, plan your life, settle down, have a stable life, at age 23. Are you insane or what? 23? Settle down? Stable life? What in the world is she thinking. Okay, even 4 years later, which is now, I'm still stuck in the same old me, haha enjoying it. However, I have changed a little, I don't go out all the way hardcore, I have toned down a lot throughout the years.

So, woman, are you happy now? Being a married woman entertaining all your in-laws and husband, yet you sneak out from the house to go clubbing and who knows what happens there. See, to have your life, I rather not have. I'm still happy the way it is for me now. I can do whatever I want and nobody says a single thing, because I have total control over it. You actually do not have the right to tell me what to do and what I should do at my age.

Please respect my decision to stay single. Thank You.
