My 3 weeks job

A long time ago when I was still young and innocent, I took up the hospitality course as my future was cloudy and bleak. You know how some people knew what they wanted to do, the path they wanted to go from a very young age? I did not have that. When I was in F4, I wanted to drop Accounts as I clearly did not have the brains or the interest for it. My teacher back then did not allow me. I ended up scoring 9/100 in the final examination. Cool huh? haha. So I withdrew from Business Admin course and took up hospitality only to end up taking Financial Accounting (wth?).

Anyway, I did my internship in Switzerland and happily flew home to be with my friends and family. I then started to work in a hotel here. It was tough, physically and emotionally demanding. I saw so many people cried due to the stress that they went through. Everyone cope with stress and pressure differently, but back then, I was stone cold. I did not understand it. After 2.5 years, I thought, it's time to resign as I could not take the pressure of working the graveyard shift every single week. It was too much and I was also getting older, my body might not be able to take that kind of intensity. I was turning 25. To add on to that, my low EPF, I can't retire with the rate it's going.

I attended a couple of interviews. One of that is a well-known foreign bank. Took me 4 hours just to get to an interviewer (those assessments, tests etc) only to find out that they were just paying a salary lesser than my hotel job. The disadvantage working in a hotel is that you get minimum EPF due to a rather low basic income. I used to get RM50 a month. Crazy right?

I went on unemployed for 6 months. I went to Korea to travel for 2 weeks then bum my way round for 6 months only to realize that my money is at "low." I grabbed whatever job that came offering to me just so that I can get cash in to my bank account.

This was purely for convenience. I took this job with a maid agency. I'm talking about something that happened 12 years ago, not today (or if it does, then I do not know). So I got hired from a maid agency as a consultant (in other terms sales). Though I did some sort of sales work (without the target), it's not my forte. I'm weak in that department, right until today. Okay, so judging from the office appearance, I cannot expect anything great or grand. I was dull, I was sluggish, I did not even know what I was doing there. One day, this kind client came by, as he was sending his domestic helper off back to her origin country. As an appreciation, he even gifted her a laptop. How nice and kind some people really are. He hasn't seen me before then, he asked what was I doing there in that agency. I explained my path and he said he's in the hotel industry for 10 years and there's a lot else to learn. Well, I may agree on that but I don't think I can take a hotel's lifestyle for much longer. But he said very softly to me to leave that company, I have got no future there.

I took that advice and considering all the things that have been happening there, I decided to leave. I just thought, what can I learn there? To match a client with a domestic helper? Is that success to me? Knowing the personality that I have, I cannot witness at all the fraudulent activities that were happening at that time and pretend it is okay. Even more so, since I work there, I was contributing to the fraudsters? It may be something "normal" within the industry for all that God knows but is it the right thing to do? The answer to myself was no, it is legally and morally wrong. The final blow was, I could not accept the fact that when a meeting occurs, someone smokes cigar in an enclosed room. Can anyone say anything regarding that? No.

I left after 3 weeks.

Day 4: Dubai, UAE

Day 4 was a chilled out day. Nothing too hectic to recover from the day before. It's pointless to have a holiday and you are all beat. So, this is just a day to rest before the next hectic day, which is the next day.

We went to the Dubai Outlet Mall, a 30 minute drive away from the city centre. Nevertheless, don't expect too much from this place. The price isn't THAT cheap. You gotta hunt for it. To me personally, I am not someone who goes for brands, so I wouldn't enjoy it. Again, from a normal shopaholic perspective, I think it's quite a let down. I only got a football jersey. I think it's not worth it to go all the way there.

For dinner, we went to Deira, a restaurant called Al Tawasol. It's actually a Yemenese Middle Eastern restaurant. It served really GOOD food and for the first time, it was cheap and I was all damn satisfied.

SP gathered the Malaysian. I met my long lost friend, and SP brought her other Malaysian friends, and of course, Malaysian gatherings come with great food. haha.

We then headed over for dessert. It's baklava. It's a Turkish rich sweet pastry and today, it's a well-known pastry all over the the Middle Eastern countries. When visiting this country, I was really thankful that my first job really opened my eyes and somehow, introduced me to a certain extent, the culture of the Middle Eastern community.

He was nice enough to pack and seal my baklava for me even though I didn't buy the minimum amount. Shukran! Yeah, I learned that back in KL. haha.

That's my long lost friend. The first we met was in 2007 over this blog when both of us were studying in Swiss. When there was no smart phones, nothing like what you get today, yet, there were ways to meet people over an online platform. I'm amazed.

I don't know what's this place called. It was after dinner, a third round. It has a very nice windy ambiance.

They serve alcohol, and shisha, the past time of the Middle Eastern. Oh and the shaky boat. haha.

UK: Liverpool & The Birthplace of William Shakespeare

That was it, a night in Liverpool and we left the next day. It was a very quick stop. Well, there's nothing much to do there anyway. Before we left, we did a bit of a bus tour before we leave the city.

This is Radio City in Liverpool, an independent local radio station tuning at 96.7 FM and the first song they played here was Stevie Wonder's You Are The Sunshine Of My Life.

Then, to St George's Hall where they act as concert halls and law courts too. In this hall, there's an organ here built in 1855.

Liverpool Cathedral is the Church of England Cathedral of Diocese of Liverpool and is the seat of Bishop of Liverpool. This Anglican Cathedral is one of the two in this city. The organ here is the largest pipe organ built.

Moving on next is to the house of John Lennon where he lived when he was 2 up til 22 with his aunt. This house has been conserved and was bought over by Yoko, his wife as a remembrance.

There's actually a little history in a lane called Penny Lane. If you don't know yet, check out the song by the Beatles. It's a song written by Paul McCartney credited to the partnership of McCartney-Lennon. It was a street name where both of name would meet and take a bus ride down town.

The next, we took a drive down to Stratford. This is your place if you are into literature. To be precise, William Shakespeare.

Welcome to the world of the man who wrote 38 plays, William Shakespeare. That's where he lived and even until he got married.

I'm sure we somehow have come across his works. I did, back in school and just not sure how to appreciate literature back then. Perhaps, I got better now, still not very much though. His house is actually now opened to public like a museum, with an entrance fee. Look into the life of the man behind all those plays and books.

The design of the houses are so familiar, just like what I see in Genting. haha.

As we walked further away, we got to Stratford upon avon, with beautiful lake and swans.

That's where I got tricked. I thought they were really caught in this position for the longest time, and then I was told, it's a chair he's sitting on, but we don't see it as it's in his pants. I'm that noob tourist, haha.

Tadaaa, it is almost time for our coach to arrive. Let's pose while we waited for Andy.

UK: Cambridge

We got picked up at the hotel the next day, and then it's the beginning of our UK Tour.

The first stop is Cambridge. Who haven't heard of Cambridge? It's where University of Cambridge is located and Cambridge is in Cambridgeshire, England. It's not exactly far, just 50 miles from north London. The Vikings were once here too and not to mention the Romans. They are everywhere!

This is one of the main activity and attraction. It's the punting. This session should bring us all to visit the sights in Cambridge. I was looking forward to this, the punting experience. Due to some communication error, this had to be canceled. Darn it. It's all paid for, so we will be compensated in other means.

The ducky duck haha

All I can do is to take pics with the punting boat

This is King's College, part of the University of Cambridge. University of Cambridge is the top 5 universities in the world. If you're there, you're something. haha.

 Aww, the swan.

Not to forget, St. John's. St John's is also a constituent college of the University of Cambridge! Well-known for its choir! Oh we have a St.John's here too back in KL, but it's a school instead of a college.

Eat, Pray, Love

I have just finished 2 book. Here is the book I have been waiting for to read. Eat, Pray, Love after I've heard all only good reviews. Of course, I really wanted to read it. When I saw that in Big Bad Wolf, grabbbbb it!

It's eat, pray, love where it became a hit in the cinemas. It's where she searched for everything. There's a lot about her connection with God, and how she finally found her inner self. I am not a person as such, but it's very interesting. Then, she fell in love. haha. Oh, I love how the writer put the whole story together and how she narrated it. It was very exciting.

This was about a girl who fell into depression and how her psychiatrist helped her rise up again throughout the years, and one day, he just passed away for some illness which he had lost the battle. It isn't your typical book, in fact, it was boring. If you are someone like that, maybe it's good to pick a book like that if you do not wanna go for the self-help book.

Foreign Babes in Beijing

As sad as it may seem, this is just probably my second or third book of the year. It's so sad. Seriously sad. I need to accelerate in reading.

I don't know what strikes me,  but during the Big Bad Wolf end of last year, I grabbed this back home too. Partly because it's cheap, and partly because I am always very interested how foreigners live in a certain place, and this in particular China. When you turn it around, an Asian who lives in US or UK, is not as bad. But, when vice versa happens, my eyes lit up to want to read this book. When it's related to big cultural differences, I get very interested.

2013 Seoul Day 6 Part 1

It's already Day 6. After the lovelocks in Namsan Tower on Day 5, I actually went to see Cheonggyecheon stream that connects with Han River in Dongdaemun.

It was not managed well, and it used to be dry and dirty. They have then decided to restore the whole stream that it's now that clean that it is said to be able to drink it from the stream. Every night, couples and friends will spend their night here chilling out. I wish I have it here. haha.

The starting of Day 6. It's breakfast time. A soya and a sandwich.

Ah, that's me. Right in front of YG Entertainment! Weeee~ That's where they are, oh Big Bang :P It's not as complicated as what you think. Just take the green line to Hapjeong Station exit 8. It's not right in front of the station and it's not visible enough from the station itself. It's just about 10 minutes walk from there. You will walk pass a gas station, some shops and etc. I walked through worldcup-ro-1-gil and Huiujeong-ro-1-gil before I arrived. Yay! There's a mini mart right in front, it was GS25 if I am not mistaken.

Then, it's time to meet the monkey. The monkey introduced this bossam or 보쌈. It was heavenly. It's a pork dish whereby its center piece is pork belly, boiled in spices and thinly sliced. You eat the meat wrapped. The combination of everything goes perfectly well. There's no other food I will ask for.

That's the monkey! Weeee~ I'll wait for you here.

And then, after shopping in my favourite place, Ehwa Women's University, here I was for dinner after all the carrying.

Gut Feelings

It came as a coincidence when my close friend asked me one day if I know this particular person. I was shocked, I said yes I do but we don't keep in contact anymore, not because of the busy schedule, not because of the distance, but more like I was pissed once with him in which I have forgotten what was that about. Geez! It had been years.

Knowing this person does not really mean that I know him deep down, or met him before. It was an online thingy and never have I thought that I'll be meeting him in person. That fateful day arrived. It was such an unfortunate day for me.

I was actually dragging myself there, I was so reluctant to meet him. Not because of what he did in the past as I can't even remember for God's sake, but more like my feelings towards him isn't great. In order to have friendship, you need to like the other person. It all started with dislike, not even a neutral feeling. I don't see him as a friend. It's just someone that had interest on my friend.

I finally met this dude. The moment I met him, my gut feelings told me not to like this guy and not to know him. I do not even feel like knowing him more or further. I just don't. Sometimes, things happen so mysteriously that you don't really have an explanation for it. Honestly, he did not do anything to me.

Ah, the whole time we were together at the dining table, I was extremely bored. First, for whatever he wants to say, it seems that he is unable to talk to me directly. That was rather rude of him. It's basic etiquette. Eye contact is really important. Again, I just can't seem to have any eye contacts with him. I just can't bring myself to do that. I know that was very disrespectful, but I really can't do that. Trust your instincts. I may be a very difficult at times, but those times had passed. I am not that person anymore. I gave him opportunities, in a way, was testing him. But, he did not take the initiative.

I don't feel sorry for him. Intelligence is a real big factor. By being present there and listening to the whole conversation, it was all very shallow. The topics that he brought up and all, was crappy and a waste of my time to be even listening to what he has to say. I officially dislike this person.

Let's break up

Lately, there are so many stuff that happened, so many stories I have heard.

This is one of the story I have heard too. It's someone I know of. This girl has been dating the bf for a minimum of 7 years and they got married.

During that 7 years, anything that happens, she will always say "let's break up." The word that anyone in the right mind will not use it just like saying "hey." But, she does. Her friends had reminded her again and again not to do that and not to use that phrase. Knowing her attitude so well, her friends all told her when she announced that she was going to get married not to act in such a way. She can no longer say "let's divorce" whenever she feels like it and even asked her if she's sure of this.

This, is such a problematic child. She is that one person that feels the whole world is going against her when everyone is helping her. Amazing. Even until today, being pregnant, she is still saying that.

Major part is that she is filled with all negative thoughts in her head. In this case, nobody can help her. Poor husband.

Maybe, just maybe, it was due to the fact she's not normal like us where our vision appears to be normal. She has her own challenges to overcome. I'm thinking that's the reason why.

한국: Day 3 Part 3

After visiting Green Tea Museum, I remember that it was raining that day. Weather wasn't looking too good on us, especially for people like us who were travelling, and who do not have any tourist bus where we are sheltered. Instead, we were caught in the rain, again and again for the days we were in Jeju Island. Rain loved us. Just because I am not really fond of the sun doesn't really mean that I want the rain =.=

Anyway, we headed over to Loveland (제주러브랜드). It is an outdoor sculpture park that consist of 2 soccer fields combined, since 2004. This is not a 18sx place, instead a 19sx place. This is where "a place where love oriented art and eroticism meet," created by graduates from Hongik University.

These are the few ones that I took, there are many many others.

Few ones

The host and the owners too haha

We walked out, and there comes a mystery road. Saw the amount of people there? They were there to see the bus go up hill as the road isn't flat, instead, it is an uphill road. There comes a point when the drivers will stop their engine yet it can still go up. Well, maybe it isn't that mysterious, let's ask the scientific guys? If they cannot answer, then maybe it is indeed mysterious haha

This was the restaurant we walked out til. We wanted to ask for direction because we were told there were buses to go back to our place. But, after waiting and waiting and til the sun goes down, there doesn't seem to be any of them. Hence, we came here to ask for direction.

This is the time we have really felt we were so lost and we didn't know what to do. We were practically stranded out of nowhere. It's in the middle of nowhere, literally.

There were a bunch of tourist there that just arrived. The ahjumma there were not free to entertain us, so we waited for them to finish to ask them for direction. The Godfather sent from above came just at the right time to help us. He asked us where were we going, and told us that there's no bus there. If we want, we need to take a cab and in order to get a cab, we need to call. He said he will give us a number. We told him that we do not have the phone line there. In the end, he called for us, negotiated the price for us and in the end, he scolded the cab driver as it did not arrive at the given timeframe. Hence, he demanded for a discount for us. He even took coffee for us, and brought us to shelter as the wind was extremely strong. Guess who is he? A bus driver of the tour group. How can someone so angelic came into my life just to help me to get home? Can you believe there's someone THAT kind and nice? He's not even getting any penny. Damn, I've never met anyone THAT nice, ever in my life before him. Right until now, I still remember how he looks like fresh in my mind. That's how memorable it had become. That's how much he has done and despite being lost here and there, he had made our trip a really memorable and not something we can forget for a long long time to come.

Once again, thank you Godfather!

Namewee's Parody on Listen Listen Listen

Haha. This is damn funny, a parody of the real issue that happened few days back. That guest panel who acted very unprofessionally, who acted rather rudely to the student just because she's an O Level and she herself is a degree holder. She emphasized that we must respect the adults. What I don't know is that we should respect adults that do not deserve to be respected.

She questioned on the students education stating that she's not educated. From the original video, it is clearly shown who was the one who is not educated, who interrupted the students questions, not answering it instead compared humans to the animals, took the mic away and when a guy wanted to say something, she disallowed.

I did not know our education system had become so bad. When someone speaks, you need to listen, said she. But, she did not listen to the student either. Does that make sense? You call that Q&A session. WOw, interesting. Our education is always a one way thing. The teachers speak and they wouldn't care students got it. They have delivered, and they get paid. At least, most are like that. Oh animals are problematic, says she. So is she and even much more problematic than all the animals, trust me.

Personal attack and humiliation on a public forum. That's very interesting indeed. Good job, woman. I'm surprised such "leader" exist and going hiding for what happened is not going to be forgotten. I don't know what is going to happen to the new generation for having a "leader" as such. Honestly, this is worrisome.

Books from Big Bad Wolf

If you are a book lover, this is the event you'll be looking forward to annually. It's the Big Bad Wolf book sale. This is D event that has slash prices in books. Books come at prices at 8 bucks, and those books are not rejected, boring, and unwanted books. It's the books that you see in MPH, Borders, or whatever you name it.

This is held in Mine's from 7-23 Dec. For the first 3 days, it was running for 24 hours non-stop, and for the last 3 days too, which means, it's ending at 9 PM tonight, considering it's already passed 12 midnight.

This is my first time there and there are just so many books I don't know where to start. I had some hand workaround throughout the whole time I was there. Ahh my one year supply of books.

I must say that I wasn't very pleased with the people there, meaning, the cashier. I was there just to pay for my books and that's it. That's all I'm asking. I had 13 books in total in my hands. For some reason that got into their sick head, they separated the 1 book away from that 12 books. This means, overlooking that 1 book that I need. Hence, they of course did not charge me for that, plus they took it away, and that left me very very unhappy. Instead of 13, I had 12.

It didn't end there of course. I only realized it after I got home. Then, I checked the receipt I got. Very intelligently, they just gave me my credit card receipt and not the actual receipt, telling me I should not claim for income tax heh. I do not care for what reason, but this is not acceptable.

I tried looking for the contact number and it cannot be found. Hence, I went to their FB, I tried contacting them and asked them to reprint me a receipt. Of course, what can I expect. There's no response so far it has been 8 hours minimum since I contacted them. What a shame.

Yeah, the bookmarks I got. Still!! I got my own bookmarks, I don't need yours. Just give me my receipt!! I know sometimes human do make mistakes but not giving me my receipt, something it's MINE, is totally unacceptable. Really.

The Schooling Days

I have this account to keep in touch with people you know from school, whether it's primary, secondary, college or uni.

Seriously? I don't know why on Earth did I have that account in the very first place because one, I'm not someone who keeps in contact with people particularly from my studying years, two, I don't even intend to live a life from the past.

I still do have a very limited amount of people from my secondary but there was not even one person that I keep in contact from primary. I'm bad in keeping contact. Well, I didn't enjoy school at all. I wanted to get out from school so badly because I hated being there.

Honestly, out of 10 people there, I recognize just one. I can never know and recognize anyone by their looks, so the only way to recognize them is only through name if I still remember or else it's just not meant to be.

I enjoyed uni the most. I dread primary the most, then secondary. There are just too many reasons behind. I don't wish to re-live those dreadful moments. If I were to live those moments again, I would rather die though adulthood sucks too. At least now, I live the way I want and I don't need to live around people competing over absolutely nothing. People don't care how you look or sound like too! Though people around you do comment but it doesn't matter anymore unlike those days. When you are just a bit different from the others, you're classified as a weirdo.

Wedding

Weddings are like so common these days ever since few years back. When it starts hitting on your circle of friends, things start to get real. Mine hasn't really hit in my close circle ... yet.

When it comes to wedding, I am very particular to whose wedding I go to. If I am not close with you, it is 101% confirm I will not attend even though there's someone paying it for me.

Few months from now, there will be a wedding held nearby to my place and it's actually an ex-classmate of mine. Not someone I was close to and still not close. Throughout the 10 years we know each other, I don't think there were even 10 sentences exchanged. People are trying to convince me as to why not if a friend is bringing me. I don't have to pay a single cent yada yada. People, it's not about the money. It's about the person getting married. As I have said, I am very particular. It's not just oh I know you, I know who are going, it's a good opportunity for an unofficial gathering. Problem is, it's not for me. I do mind whose wedding it is. I only go to weddings that I am personally invited to, and the relationship I have with that person.

It's a clear cut why she wanted to invite me initially. We hardly talk, we barely talk. Even people that she hardly talk throughout the years got invited. If we often hang out, it's a totally different story. Issue now is, we don't. Some told me, it's okay she has no time for me. That's not my issue now, it is about that person!! Aish! I know that I can drink there, but you know, I don't have to be so desperate to be going to people's wedding whom I barely know to drink! Omg!

Please get my point, I only go to a close friend's wedding, nothing more, nothing less. Okay, please, and thank you for your kind understanding.

100% Moral x Moral Behaviour

I really don't understand some people. Is it really that difficult to say thank you when people hold either the door or the lift for you? Can they die? Instead, they give a god dang stare back at you, like you offended them or something. Sorry for holding the lift for you, I should not have done that. Instead, I should just close it when you're at the middle of the lift between in and out and ensure that the lift close when you're right there, causing it to squeeze you to death. Sorry. I should not, I regretted. While if it's a door, I'm sorry I held it for you too, I should have just close it at your damn face, ensuring you're sandwiched til your nose goes flat and your face distorted.

You tell me, what's the use of having moral studies. Yeah, with those values there, it's merely to pass for the exam. People are lacking of humanity and civic. Moral teachers themselves don't even practise what the theories they have been teaching for the past 10 20 years. So, you get all these irritating people around who look at you like as if you owe them your entire life and you ought to be their lifetime slave. First of all, all these has to come from themselves, the students. Good examples need to be shown by adults. But, did you see it? I know I don't see that in my own teachers back then, not even one. I have unfortunately no due respect to them because they don't deserve it.

Back then, it's all about respecting the elders, no matter what they do, whether they are wrong or right, you need to respect them because they are elderly folks. It doesn't apply anymore. Now, it's more like, even though you are 20 years older than I am, you earn that respect. I will not give it to you blindly. This is how principles are. So many elderly people had misuse that respect. As a conclusion, I don't respect just every other individuals who are older than me. You want, you earn, or else, I will not give it a damn either. You may say I am the most disrespectful and all but, have you ever done anything that ought to be respected in the first place.

It's all nonsense, talk hero action zero. Moral studies what? Come again? I am a low achiever especially in Moral Studies before. I was just at the passing mark. But, it doesn't mean I have no morals and all. I have more than someone who scores 100%. I can assure that! It reflects what kinda person are you through how you carry yourself, your behaviour overall.

She Chose This Path

Someone told me something about an ex-classmate the other day. I have not seen her since we left school. I just have the tendency to lose contact with my secondary mates, and I love it haha. Oops, did I just type that out? Oh I did.

She was saying that she and her very good friend once upon a time had a very huge issue between them. So, the question was, why and what happened? I think this is the most stupid ever thing than can happen. It's because of one pathetic guy. The guy apparently liked her friend, but she liked him. Feelings are not something like "oh you like me? ok i will like you too." The girl that the guy liked stepped back to allow her friend to have it her way because to begin with, she didn't have any feelings for him. I was then told that because of that, she had parted ways with that very good friend, and that they are no longer friends since then? OH MY? Can people be more pathetic than that? I can't imagine. I can't believe. Since that fateful day, she changed from being the good girl, to join the company of the rascal group, became someone who drinks and smokes very heavily, someone you can never imagined she would be.

They kept on saying, she will change one day, she will change back to the person she once was. It's either they are being too optimistic or they are just painfully in self-denial. She will not. In other words, she was blaming the unhappiness to that other people. Doesn't she know happiness is in her own hands, her destiny lies in herself. How can you blame others for all these petty things? It's a matter of fact that negative influence is much more tempting that positive influence. Admit it. They kept on saying, they will be there for her if she needs them. Screw it, she will not. If you people are really people she consider as friends, she will not even walk out from your life.

All these whole chaos had proven it. It proved just one thing. A guy is more important than the friendship you had built for so many years. There's no sign of re-building it. It becomes nil. So much for a friendship aye? Just forget about it and move on. Why do you people wanna care and concern for her when she herself had pulled out herself from your life? Yeah I know as a friend those should and shouldn't things. There are limits, if you see no hope in that person and is totally out of cure, leave it, leave her alone. Don't sound like you're a Saint that's all. You don't have to complicate your life just because of a past memory. There's nobody who is right nor wrong. Remember, she chose this path to follow. For how she lives now, she was the one who made this decision, happy or sad, it's her. Nobody needs to judge her, because in the end, she's the one feeling it, it has nothing to do with you, or me. Don't give yourself a fake hope she will come back one day, she will not. Her acting this kinda way has proven everything you need to know. Nobody is forcing her, she is doing all these out of her own will. How one person deals with things reflect what kinda person she is already. Must I say more?

You don't even have to feel that her life is wasted like that. This is the most ever stupid reason that a girl can turn the back against her very own good friend. Guys are the same, if you turn your back against each other just because a girl, ask yourself if it's really worth it. It will not. Trust me. At 18, don't you know what's right and wrong? Well, that's her life.

Get L-O-S-T

Please allow me to say this, that some people really have an ugly flower vase brain. I'm sorry to say, but, he proved himself well enough that is now certified. Flower vase = empty in the inside.

Again, the moment I met him for the first time, not knowing anything about him, obviously I trust my instincts at that moment of time. He's a friend of a friend, who got to know from other friends as well. Though I have been told that he's actually an okay person, I trust my feelings more. It's not that I don't trust my friends, but, everyone's perception on people differ from one to another. It is also a fact that people are usually caught between your own judgement and people's perception towards him who obviously know him more than you do. No matter how much they know him, I still prefer to trust the feeling at that moment of time.

It turned out to be, he really isn't like how he was described as. Looking at him, I know, he's definitely not someone you can trust with. See, he's actually a someone to my friend. Though I did not say anything, my friend knew I was not too keen on him, that I don't like him like how she wish I could. Hence, she kept a lot of their problems from me, to avoid any hatred that bound to happen if I were to know about how was he treating my friend.

Recently, he got to know my friend went out to partay~ Well, what's wrong with adults going to partay you may ask. Nothing's wrong for any of us, only him. They are over with each other, gone were the days. It's all just in the history. My friends are all nice people, they are people who will give second chance to boys, guys, and whatever you call them as. This, will be no different. My gut feelings told me otherwise. He will not change. I warned her, but, as long as she's happy I'm cool. It's normal for people to dance in club, no? What's a club for? To sit around look at people and look oh-so-boring? That's so pathetic, and I think that's more for him, and not others. He got to know that she was dancing with a guy friend and he commented something very ruthlessly. He's no longer in her life, everything was in the past. What is wrong with doing so>? He does not have any effing right to comment anything about the way she parties.

He was saying, that she is such an easy girl. Oh, and just FYI, he did not see how she danced with that dude in his own eyes. Someone else told him. Hence, of him commenting such thoughtlessness remarks.

First of all, he was someone from her past and whatever she does now, has got nothing to do with someone like him. Since he is so judgmental of people, why does not he see a problem in himself? Take a mirror, and look. It's full of problems, from head to toe, even the one inside his head. If only he see the never-ending flaws he has, he should just shut his big mouth and go on with life. You know what? It's not gonna be a chance for you anymore, and no matter what, this time, I can assure that. I will not let it happen babeh. You know why? Coz you are such an undeserving idiot. Yeah, go on commenting, go on bitching, you will not go far in life. Remember this, the problem is YOU. Just continue being a loser. If you think you are so great, well, just continue living in denial because you are so far from that. I can see at least something good in people, even though I might not that keen on them, except you, I wonder why? Please sit around more to talk even more, and you can join Asia's Biggest Loser the next season. Good Luck yo. haha.

8 Long Years to Wait

I think it's a very sad thing to know that a girl has to wait for 8 long years, before the guy pops up the question to her, about getting married. She has waited for so long, but Thank God, he finally decided to go forward with her. It has been 8 years, not 8 months.

It's also a well-known fact that she really really wants to get married, except, the guy does not want. She even confronted him bout this before, but he was not even acknowledging it, reason being, financial constraints. I guess, it's such a relief for her heh. haha. She's a girl who wants to get married, the earlier, the better. That's her, unlike the other girls that I know, who does not want. I can assure that I guess 99% of my ex-classmates are people who wanna get married. The 1% I think is me. haha.

A friend has asked if I am going, since that he's not even close to her. My answer will be, oh, I was not invited, but I'm actually really glad. I'm a total broke. He told me that he will remind her. To me, it's not so much about going, but it's more about our position with each other. She's definitely not someone I can be friends with, I can never go out with her one on one. Even in groups, I don't feel like it. I'm afraid if that happens, when I really go out with her, there will be a day I will just screw her. To avoid stuff like that, it's best I keep my distance from those people. These group of people are not the most polite people I must say, or sometimes, they say things without thinking, they might not mean it, but I really don't care whether you think, you mean, or whatever, but it's more like what have been said will remain as it is. I only believe my ears. I told him too that even if she invites me, I definitely will not go. That's me, because I was not close to her in any point of my life before.

I don't see a point of others reminding the others to invite this and that, because to begin with, you should have included those people you wanna invite. Those who are not, means only one thing - not friends. I'm thankful I'm not in. It's the principles. I will stick to one no matter what happens.

When I was told about her wedding, my response was "FINALLY???" haha. Believe it or not, I have not seen her ever since we left school, so that would be 8 years ago, even before she met her husband-to-be. So yeah, she can be really rude at times, but again, it's not like I'm not used to it. However, I don't want to get used to petty stuff like that, knowing that our attitude clashes hell a lot. I have a choice, I have an option. Hence, I should distance myself like how I used to. I just vanish from them for 6 years before, what makes you think I will not again? Oh, and to remind myself, the last time I met them was my birthday, one year ago. One down, 5 to go. Hence, I shall prevail. Awesome!

I'm amazed

One month ago, I met this guy that I have not met for 10 years now. He's no other than one of my ex-classmates, precisely, an ex-classmate that I prefer to keep a distance away. I do not wanna dig my own graveyard to be stepping in front of him to say HI.

I could still recognize him after so many donkey years. But, he could not, because we practically walked past each other without anything in between us, just spaces. I thought he did, but he did not. Phew! For someone who has been acting weird in that 2 years was bad.

I didn't care what he did then because in the end of the day, we will all go in our own separate ways in the end of 2001. When we first stepped out of Form 5, he would contact almost everyone of us, without any motive. It's like the male's CNN. He calls up, to ask for you, even though it's your phone, and he will say your full name out. Like d'uh.

Once the convo in 2003
He: Hi, may I speak to "XXX Toh please ar hehe"
Me: Sorry wrong number
He: Oh sorry, it's XXX Quah haha
Me: Speaking

Haha ... it's not my fault, he said my surname wrongly. I wasn't mean, I was just answering. I know it's him though, his name appears on my screen haha. I just pretended I don't. How can he even think about saying my surname wrongly? It's the last thing he can even think of doing. So he called to tell me about boring things like what are the other classmates are doing, this this broke his leg, that that shifted house. Honestly, I didn't wanna know o.O Now that he doesn't have my number, he kept on callling my friend to ask how's she and keep on reporting to her like how's the traffic in his place, where is he going, what is he doing and stuff like that. o.O OMG ok! He actually has my number because I have never changed my number, maybe he deleted because twice I was out of the country, he thought I would have changed it. Well, not like he knows I left anyway haha. So after a few times, I'm sure he will then assume that I have changed my number.

Ah and there were a few times we went out, the few of us many years back, before I can even drive. Each time we go out, he will ask my friend, to drive. Smart right, for always sitting in a girl's car, expecting a girl to fetch him all the time. Reason? Oh because his house has only one car, his parents need to use it. Oh I See. Once, he drove, and you know what? He actually asked for parking money which was RM1 and toll money which was RM1 at that time. o.O You tell me how amusing can he be?

I am honestly ... amazed! Thank God he deleted me. I feel so honored.

Tight scrutiny

I realized, something. I realized those with strict parental scrutiny, as in, real strict, once they step into adulthood, they not only stray, they go wild, they go berserk.

I have seen quite a handful of them, who once was so obedient, sit at home, not because they want to, but they are forced. Reason being parents don't allow them out from the house, not even nearby. They are the ones tend to break all the rules later on, they do mistakes that can be avoided, social issues, and all that along the line.

All along they have been tied up, not allowed to do anything in the world. Then, there comes the day, of them stepping into adulthood. Many of ex-school mates, those with strict parents, got pregnant and eventually, married, early ... or also some whom got pregnant, gave birth, and single.

One I have seen changed from being the naive innocent one, to become the desperado wild aggressive one, which even me myself, am afraid haha. It came to a point that I feel I no longer know this person, because it's like 2 entirely different person. People change, I know that fact, but the change was too drastic I could not accept it. Who would ever thought she became like this. I might be able to accept it, if I didn't know her back then. Too bad, I did. Sometimes, people are so ironic. They condemned certain people for doing certain things, but ... the next thing I know, they are doing exactly the same thing like how they were against those people.

Perhaps, I would have able to accept it, until she gave out a statement. She gave false statements, and it was a mere rumour, so that she looks good. But to tell you the truth, I find it REALLY farney. haha.

Well, being rebellious only at 21, isn't it a bit too late? HAHA.
