Finit 9

Everyone is good at something, and I believe ... yes I believe that I am good at something too. Previously, I know that I am good at this, but I didn't know that I am THAT good. Today, I am gonna confess and I wanna be proud of myself ... for once. Yesterday, I slept around 3pm til like 10-ish for dinner and just as thought I couldn't sleep back, I realized at 2-ish that I was sleeping so nicely since 12-ish til this morning at 7am. So, I think it all answers all my doubt about my talent, more on .. my gifted talent. Please be proud for me coz this is my strongest point. Sleeping 8 hours a day isn't enough for me, it's sufficient but not enough. HAHA! Blogging now due to my erm ... my screwed up working hours, 5pm til 1am =.=

It's time for an update from my in-training ... yes again I know... and I know it's like a neverending set of pictures, but trust me, it's really finishing, real real soon. It's close to one dozen part already. I am typing so much because I don't have a chance to type or talk so much after 8 nights haha.

This is Lucy, the one that welcomes me when I first joined. However, her English is very minimal. Thus, during busy times, it's difficult to communicate ... and she loves tickling me :(

This is Beranjere and I hope I spell her name correctly, I mean .. you know how powderfool my French is haha. See the back of us? I eat there sometimes, but that's the place the managers usually sit.

Well, this is my fave barman, Cervat. Umm ... when I first started, he was really mean, shouting and all. However, not that I understand what he shouted lol. We have very big communication barrier, I couldnt understand French, he couldnt understand English. But, we have to work very closely to each other. As time goes by, I like him more and I know how things go and then he's being really nice to me too. He used to make drinks for me, give me free drinks when I didn't even ask for it. He jokes with me too, okay I know my French is like superbly limited but I can understand okay!! haha and he even pulled me to the back of the bar to give me wine, and and .. when I didn't ask for any drinks after I finished my training, he gave me without request. Usually, when people want also he's reluctant to give. He's from Turkey btw and he said he's kebab coz he knows I love eating kebab HAHAHA. omg!!! I damn miss him.

This is one of my managers ... and he loves calling me China girl, and I'm like no .. I am NOT china girl you European boy -_- and he likes telling me that my family is eating at which table ... not my family but .. some Asians who has similar skin colour and chiky eyes, that's my family -_- and yah, don't ever see him after work. Oftenly, I just have to laugh as ... once, he was wearing a NBA singlet and bermudas ... with slippers and reading newspapers -_- don't ever tell people he's my mgr siut -_- I told him so many times that I am from Malaysia, not Indonesia -_- he said the same, I said nooooo ... nevermind, only my mabuk manager knows the difference hehe

And ... if any of you are wondering if there are any other female waitress there or we call it as chef de rang ... the answer is no.

I melted

My battle is finally over now, I made it!!! I finished my overnight shift for 8 consecutive days. I actually love the work, but ... I don't like the day off part where you will not feel like you have an off day at all coz you finish at like 8am and you have to work the next day. So, it kinda sux. Nothing has been happening lately, so ... I have run out of idea what to blog of.

I know this has been a frequent complaint from me anytime, anywhere ... but I still have to say this. Today, is the day that I face the afternoon sun after 8 days of not coming face to face with the sun. I feel like I have an afternoon sun phobia now, as my eyes couldn't open, my skin got red, and pain obviously.

Well, don't even mention the afternoon sun as morning sun alone is enough to make my skin irritates. I have been here for all my life, but somehow ... the longer I stay here, I realize that the more that I cannot take the heat of the sun here haha. How weird.

Wondering why is it that my blog has been loaded with words and only words ... reason being too tired to edit and not that I have many pics with me anyways.

I am dragging myself to Saturday, as I will be working at least 11 hours that day, and that's like a nightmare come true for me. I know that I did that before, working from 1pm til 11pm in F&B in Geneva, but that's different!!! Coz ... I don't even know why. But, it's just different haha. Sigh .. probably I will edit some pics later or tomorrow .. let's see. Omg ... so fast ... 20 days to go o.O

Live healthily

I have been in a "war" for 7 days now and just a day more to battle before living like a human being again, to regain my composure. I feel so lost. Sometimes I wake up at 6pm, and I thought was 6am. When it's Tuesday, I thought was Monday. But, one thing for sure, I have become healthier as a person, or maybe not person, I don't even know anymore. When I work morning shift, I only eat 2 meals a day, but when I do overnight, I have 3-4 meals per day. When I wake up for breakfast (dinner for normal people), and off to work. During my break, I eat another time for my lunch (supper for normal people). Between those wee hours, I have another time for snacks, work while eating and that's my tea time (2nd supper for people). Then, after work, I eat another time and that's my last meal before I go to bed, and that's definitely my dinner (breakfast for dinner). So, see ... am I healthy now haha.

Something weird happened today though. When I was in KLCC like 7-ish in the morning, yes I know it's dang early. If you are wondering what was I doing THAT early in KLCC, I went there for toilet and later for breakfast with dad. This guy, I seriously I swear I don't know him at all, and I have no impression of him whatsoever. He suddenly smiled at me only God knows why. Like damn o.O I don't find people doing that here .. so I find it VERY weird haha. Back in Swiss, I did this a few times before. I just sat at the bench waiting for the tram, passers by just smiled and sometimes greeted me too. Like ... damn nice. But, there's this guy who passed me a few times ... yeah ... weird enough -_- left right left right -_- and he greets me each time he walks past me =.= and he smiled .. so da super weird okie -_-

Btw, I didn't know that my name in Jap is Misheru and it actually means divine in English. Thank you chou chou for telling me about the site. Call him Iyasu, that's his Jap name which means to heal haha. Omg sounds so angelic.

Movies updates

And so .. I covered a few more movies since Transformers.

I haven't been watching movies ever since I started working. I just could not find the time to spend 3 hours to watch a movie. 2 hours for the movie, 1 hour probably to go and back in addition with the time to find parking and all. Sigh!

Yeah~ so a couple of weeks ago, I had a day off on a weekend or was it not a weekend, I could not even remember. Those things are not important, but the most important is ... the movie and the people I watch with.

You know what movie? Ratatouille ... omg!!!! I have been eyeing this movie since June when I went to Euro Disney in Paris and I saw the poster there!!! Omg! I could not believe it that I watched it already? I lurve this movie to bits!!! It's related to what I have studied too!!! hehe. It's definitely one of my fave movie, and and .. it's a rat!!!!! a very close call to what people used to call me =.= one of the many nicknames that I have. AND ... it's French, and it's held in a restaurant!!! My in-training ... french ... omggg .. it's so much related!!! omg!!!

That day was a very special day too coz I went to watch with 7 other people. But, guess what? I felt so lonely, and I felt so lost as I went to watch with 2 different families. Coincidently, I was sitting in-between of 2 families. I was sitting in the middle, on my right was Kylie and family, includes, Kerry, Keith and Karen while to my left was Oink's family, or you can call him Marcus now, a so-called glamour name given by Shaz haha. His side were his sister and a family friend and he has to keep it a secret about this friend until that moment we saw him =.= but seriously, I don;t even know if I should say I watched with one family or 2 families as Oink now says that he's Kylie's sis. *cabuts*

Well, on a nearer date, not that long ago, probably a week ago, I went to watch Rush Hour 3 with Piggy, after so many reviews on that movie. I will not rate this movie as a dang good movie, but just an average one, and of course it depends on how you perceive it. If you are looking for a good story line, this is not the movie for sure. But, if you are looking for laughs after a stressful week and all, this is the movie. Omg ... it was held in Paris ... and omg ... I was there ... and omg ... I actually understood some French words that they were saying in the movie!!! OMg!!! C'est gentil :D it really reminds me of those fellas back during in-training coz they always say those words. Plus, when the chinese guy were caught in the room, he was cursing, like what I used to hear every single day hehe. Plus, when the guy asked those guys to put their hand on the head in French, I actually understood it :o

Geneve 4

Enough for the Merdeka celebration, it's more than enough coz I got so fired up that day haha. So yeah forget about it yea. I made a record today. I shall record it down at the World's Dede Book of Record for recording the day that I did not even feel sleepy at work. Yeah like 9 hours without feeling sleepy. I think that wine works the best! Guess what? I had dinner the nite before, and I drank both white and red Aussie wine. It was such a long long time I did not drink wine. Haha .. I know some might not believe that. So, O-KAY-lah ... I did drink in July, just a couple of glass okay! No biggie, man. OMG! The dinner sucks, but I have the wines to compensate. Do you know what is the conclusion now? Drink wines, yes it's plural, before going to work!! HAHA! After 4 days of night shift, I do not know what day is today, what date is today, and I can't differentiate from day to night and night to day. I feel like a drug addict as I can't face the sun anymore. The moment I step out of the working place and I see the sun (that is the only time I face the sun), immediately I have to turn away. My eyes could not take it. It is not to say that it's the bright afternoon sun, but only the sun at 7 plus in the morning. That shows how sad it is!!

Enough of crappy stuff, po leow genug ;) It's my baby's time named Geneva :D

Blardy connection, pics cannot be uploaded now, will do so again later. After my beauty sleep that is.

A church at the old town

This is taken from the inside of the church :D

Wondering where is old town .. here it is, I went there less than 5 times throughout my 6 months there

What do I love doing here? What else if it's not shop? HAHA .. SHOPPPPPPP ;) and I worked just right there .. everyday I see all these shops :p and I wait the tram just at the side of the road :p

omg this clockkk ... it's damn special ... why? I see that 5 days a week, sometimes more :o coz it's just located outside from where I work hahah

Happy 50th Anniversary, Malaysia, my country

This date, 31st of August 50 years ago, was the day we gained our independence from the British after ages under the British rule. We were finally free, we may lead our own lives, own rules, everything by our own without a need of an approval from the English. That's the greatest gift of all for all the Malayans back then.

However, the formation of Malaysia only comes a few years later, specifically on the 16th of September 1963.

I am sure many of you had gone out celebrating, hanging out, chilling out with friends, enjoying the moment of 50 years ago. It was a joyful day, for what reason I don't know. Everyone's asking everyone how did you celebrate your 31st August.

One year ago, I did absolutely nothing, but we purposely downloaded the Negaraku song to be heard. After all, there is nothing Malaysian in Switzerland. We went around wishing other Malaysians Happy Merdeka hahaha, like some insane fellas.

So yeah ... back to the topic, what did I do. Seriously, do not ask me, it's quite depressive. I was looking forward to celebrate, I already have a few plans on my list. First was to go with Kit as she asked me to accompany her. Second was to go for fireworks. Third was to go wherever with my buddy. But, my dreams shattered. I could not celebrate, and honestly speaking, I have stayed home every Merdeka. When I finally decide to go out on this spectacular day, this has to happen. I HAVE to WORK!! Niteshift!!! That's the worst ever thing that could ever happen to me. YET, some creature has to tell me how nice it is to watch fireworks and all. Do NOT tell me, I am simply not interested. That's just too mean.

Until today, I just realized that my ex-boss loves me so much, so much that he did not make me work for 8 days consecutively like what I am facing now. I have to work 8 night shifts consecutively, without any break in-between. My ex-boss never let me work 8 days straight. Let's not talk about 8, he never gives me more than 5 days before while othes had like 7-8 days before. Now I realize. Omggg .. he treats me sooooo goood and I'm so touched.

While I was working, and looking at the stuff I was doing, I realized 2 people walked in, rephrase, I realized one person walked in with one creature. AND .. you know what? OMG!!!!!! It was Kylie OKAY!!!! Kyliee ... omgggg soooo toucheddddddddddd sial. Fireworks around KLCC was sad. Really sad. Barely one minute of fireworks and that also comes from Bukit Bintang area -_-

You know what? I left work at 7 plus, went to LRT. HEH!! WHat the oh my bloody god. The LRT was so so so so bloody congested. I hate them, man! From that moment onwards, I got so pissed, like basically every single person there. I just couldn't withstand in situation like this, MAN!! This is madness, mad cow disease!!! At like 8am!!! OKAY!!! You know why?

They are all getting to this damned place for nuts

BUT STILL ..

I love you, Malaysia :p haha

Patriotism

We have been talking about patriotism over and over again for so many years and yet there's no conclusion to it, everything seems to be at square one repeatedly every single year. It's always and forever will be the topic once August approaches.

We condemn as much as we love for our own reasons. When we are here, all we wanna do is to leave the country, but as soon as we are out of the country, that's the last thing you wanna do. How ironic, but it's true.

Those days, there wasn't a need to show how patriotic we are, there's not a need to sing, not a need to put up flags and stuff like that because patriotism comes from within. Today, it's the other way round. Patriotism is shown through actions. But ... when it comes to within, how many actually really are.

I believe that no matter how we condemn our country, we still love it. Probably there are a handful of people who hates it as much as they can. There are of course but not that I care. I realized that being out of the country makes someone becomes more patriotic haha. Well, there was a time that this babited huten condemned the country like shit in front of a total stranger and all. It's such a disgrace I tell ya. It was such a pissing off time that maybe, not many could understand that feeling. I don't see a point of dropping your country's name in front of a foreigner.

If one does not intend to promote and not proud about the country, then say nothing, don't open that big mouth to tell people that this country sux. I can remember that day very vividly.

We are a nation, not an individual, that's why ... my name in MSN became anak Malaysia
if any of you were wondering at that moment, that incident was an inspiration and a turning point.

bangsat

It has been quite some time that I did not blog about some sheisse and babi post, but this will be one. Nothing serious but ... yea.

You know what I despise. I despise people or rather the stupid idiotic species keep on whistling at others when they see species different from them. Like so .. whatever. Not like those people they whistle at know them or something.

I hate this stupid bloody bastards attitude. They just love doing that AND they even try calling out to them, but of course to no avail.

If you are wondering why am I blogging at this hour while I already had my day off yesterday, it's because I have started my graveyard shift (11pm - 7am). Talk about it more next time.

Nite out @ Geneva

This is an .... an .... an .... outing in Geneva. Not really an outing, it was actually a impromptu one that I never expected that I will go. Anyhow, I did promise Adik that I will go out at nite with him before leaving for good.

This is the truth, and I am not afraid to admit, I have never gone out to clubs in Geneva, call me a sad case fella. HAHA. Seriously, I never. What I did then was to work and back to work. So .. yup.

That nite, I just went out. By not knowing anything, I drank something and it's Sex on the beach. After that we went downstairs .. but you know something. This gotta be the best ever thing you could ever ask for. You know what? It's ladies nite. No, it's not the simple Ladies nite in KL. BUT ... this is FREE FLOW all the way. Free flow okayyy? Get drunk also nvm haha. How often can you get free flow throughout the nite? How? I have never got that before until that day. Just DRINK!!! Let's maooooooo!!!

Sex on the beach mon cherry :D

Starting ...

So many people .. stuffy .. so I sweat .. that's why red okie :p

I believe so, hope

So much for the outings, the pictures, the work, the good, the bad, the times that I spent with people. It's a moment of thought now.

We live a life of tomorrow. We don't live for the past. We look for the future, we don't turn back of the past and mourn. We live for ourselves and not for people, we choose our path, we choose our life, we do things our way, we do what we like and what we are comfortable in.

Life's flow is not straight, but that doesn't mean we have to be the same way. Things can change for the better. We look up to the stars. There are hope. We put hope, and faith and that's what we believe in. Without hope, there is nothing left we can do. Look for the good side and not the bad one.

Waiting ... hoping ... and believing in you, that someday things will be just there, things will be the way I was expecting, and am expecting. I believe .. one day, things will be fruitful, like the way I always want it to be. And .. I still believe so.

Though things are not always what we expect to be, as long as there is hope, things will be just fine.

C'est la vie mon amis
